Sky seemed to be pushing it a lot over there programming, i would like to think not. Good fight in itself, but def not PPV worthy.

Agreed I do not think it is PPV worthy.
Good fight but will either win a world title at cruiser ?
I've seen Huck fight a few times and Lebedevs and Hernandezs last fight and can't see Clev or Bellew beating them especially abroad.
Not seen the Polish WBC champ fight but have heard he is half decent

The day these two are PPV fighters is the day the world has officially gone mad.

There's something eating away at me which makes me think all of the animosity last night was pre-planned / manufactured. It's almost like SKY have been trying to stoke up the fire for this one other the past 5 months, with the fighters agreeing to join in for the pay day.
As for whether this is going to be PPV, well it's almost inevitable. For me this isn't bigger than their first fight. Both went into the first fight undefeated, world title on the line with genuine bad blood. The first fight was free to view on B0xnati0n. If Eddie tries to charge £17.95 PPV for the rematch then he's clearly getting high off his own smugness.
I would say however if Eddie came up with his own Magnificent 7 bill, with 7 Matchroom fighters in 50/50 fights, with Bellew Vs. Cleverly top of the bill then I wouldn't mind paying PPV for the overall event.

The first bit of your statement, i can guarantee you that bellew genuinely despises cleverly nothing is done for the cameras he dislikes the guy and wants to fight him at any cost. Sometimes when i see fighters getting into arguments and nearly fighting i often think is this all for the cameras and have sky put them up to it, but i know for a fact bellew is 100% real when he says he dislikes him and wants to destroy him.
As for the P.P.V thing i agree with you totally this fight alone is not ppv material but if you done a 7 fight 50-50 card it would be allot better than paying £15 for some of the shows that only have 1 good fight on and clev v bellew would be a great headlining act to top a 7 fight 50-50 card show.

Not being ppv worthy has never stopped hearn before. Harrision v haye and froch v groves 1 were never ppv quality cards. Unfortunately there is a good chance this will be ppv. Hope hearn is not greedy and the undercard is smith vs fielding and joshua vs lewinson for the english.

If it was PPV on its own I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. It would have to be part of some bigger event with lots of good fights on the card for me to even consider it.
Some of that attempted buildup last night was cringeworthy, reminded me of WWE stuff. When Bellew pretended he was going for Cleverly at the end of his fight and then just got back in the ring, what a dick.
I do agree there is probably some genuine dislike, but a lot of last night was pure amateur-dramatics for the cameras.

That's my feelings too. It didn't feel organic at all, it all seemed pre-planned. I feel like Eddie and SKY are trying to mug us off.

Barney Francis at sky calls the shots - if he doesnt think its PPV it won't happen.
It's the complete farce that was Harrison - Haye which changed the PPV market..it won't sell as a PPV anyway neither are big names or engaging characters - SS1 material only

It's one I'll not stump up for; both are good level fighters but it's not the end of the world if I don't see the rematch; the first bout was decent enough but neither has improved and I'll be the same sort of bout and the same result.

I doubt many people have heard of either fighters outside boxing fans, can't believe they would make a PPV out of it

I can't see this being a PPV. If it is then I will be disappointed in Matchroom, they can't start making every decent matchup into a PPV. I hope nobody buys it if they do, nip it in the bud straight away. But I don't think they will make it a pay per view.

I cant see this being PPV the numbers would surely be terrible. Both names are not big with the casuals and genuine boxing fans i dont think would shell out £15.00 for this fight alone unless the undercard was something special.

No chance it would be PPV on its own, Clev can't even sell tickets in his home country & Bellew isn't a big draw outside Liverpool, the PPV model relies on big names to sell to the casuals.
If it was chief support to Froch v Degale, I'd say the 2 fights would just about justify PPV (although obviously the less PPVs there are, the better for everyone - boxing fans probably pay more for tv coverage than any other sports fans considering how much is actually shown).

Someone on a another site said it was being discussed to be Smith vs Abraham / Clev vs Bellew II on PPV in a double-bill.
Could be horseshit but who knows..

Poor excuse for a PPV fight but in today's climate and Eddies incessant b.s this probably will be on box office as the general sport loving fan will buy into the grudge match. As a boxing fan it actually disgusts me that domestic fights (between European level fighters - irregards if one was a 'world champion ') are being discussed as PPV events.

Can't for the life of me see how that would work. We're more or less in the same timezone with Germany unless they are only proposing showing the Smith v Abraham main event, in which case it isn't really 2 bills of boxing together.
