Is this happening? Boxrec has each fighter at the MGM on September 13, but they're not opponents (opponents TBA).

I assume this is part of the Mayweather vs Maidana show. I really hope they fight, that will be a great undercard!

A year ago l would have said Cruz wins easily, but the Munyai fight made me think Quigg may actually be a little underrated...

Quigg is fighting in Manchester

According to the Boxrec schedule but if Golden Boy want to build up him v Santa Cruz then there is a chance he will appear on this bill.

The plan was that Quigg would meet Abril, but now that Abril has signed for another fight I guess other avenues were looked at.

No it was for Crolla to fight Abril. Quigg will headline Manchster show

With McGuigan delivering big time for Frampton by getting Martinez back over here the pressure is on Hearn IMO to deliver something big for Quigg..lets see what he comes up with

Yeah the rumour is this Martinez fight is the last fight on Mr McGuigan's deal with allegedly. This may not be the case as I think I'v only seen it in those I-film interviews from Barry Hearn and he may not know the whole story. If that's the case then the money these guys can potentially make is gonna have a lot of zeros on the end compared to what they have been making so far. This obviously assumes both guys win their next fights.

Can't see Frampton coming over to england to fight Quigg, Frampton could fight no hopers for 5 or 6 fights and make a fortune, Hearn would have to offer insane money to get the fight in Manchester. I wonder if Hearn regrets dropping Frampton now Frampton can fight in front of 16 thousands fans. Hopefully Kugan will ask him in his next interview.

Would be delighted but I can't see it happening not as early as December anyway- even though I believe he will beat him again the Martinez fight will likely be rough so I doubt Carl will e back that quickly. As for a Quigg fight IMO Barry would want to be the boss or at least 50/50 co-promoter - where would that sit with the Hearns?

I'd imagine negotiations would be long but that a deal could be got to. I certainly think 50/50 would not be considered unreasonable by Matchroom given the amount of fans Frampton has and the belt he would have if he wins the IBF title.

And the fact that despite how good a boxer Quigg is,he still holds a paper title unfortunately

Quigg is a likeable person but let's be honest here. Eddie has not delivered proper fights for him it's starting to get embarrassing

I'm not sure if he would knock him out but I would confidently back LSC, especially on a Golden Boy card in the US.
