A close fight but I was glad Canelo got the decision. He will always struggle against boxers and although Lara made him miss a lot and seemed to be able to pick him off at will, he wasn't anywhere near as convincing as Mayweather at doing it. Don't think many will be calling for a rematch, would love to see Cotto next and then GGG.

I had it 116-112 Lara,Alvarez was the stronger fighter no doubt and spent the whole fight pressing forward I just think even though he was throwing the power punches his accuracy was way off and Lara picked him off at will before dropping his punch output,still done enough though IMO and people keep going on about Lara not throwing enough as if Canelo has the punch volume of Joe Calzaghe

Had it 116 112 Canelo didn't even stay up for the judges cards thought it was that straight forward.surprised there is such a split over this fight.

Great fight though.
