I'm sure he's lost the plot. Looking at his twitter, he's been talking shit about smashing Thompson, David Price and Joshua. All three of them would put his ass in the retirement home im sure.

Yeah true. I just find those kind of boasts very transparent as everyone knows he'd get his ass kicked by those guys. I mean Thompson calling out Fury is different story because that would be a competitive fight i think.

Martin Rogan got lucky in a format made for his style and lived off it for a bit. It was a nice story (the belfast cabbie etc) but thats it.

Was never really much better than Irish title / area title level.

There was talk of him fighting for the Irish Heavyweight Title (again) against Darren Corbett, but they've not been able to pull anything off as of yet.

Bit harsh. The wins over Harrison and Skelton proved he was British title level.

Skelton was European champion at the time, if it wasn't for the EBU playing politics he would have been European champion, Audley went on to win the same title as well. Calling Rogan area level is harsh like you say.

He was decent British title level back when he upset Audley by one round and stopped Sexton in their first fight. That version probably could have made Danny Williams reign mercifully shorter. I would think today's Rogan would only go a couple of rounds with Price or Joshua.

very limited and very past it but would be an interesting test for some rising British talent.

Nah mate, too harsh. When he won the Commonwealth title he should have been given the European title as well but wasnt because he was ranked outside their top 15 at the time (I think he was 18 or 19)
