In regards to Tyson Fury that is.

Now that Tyson Fury is being promotd by FW, and Peter Fury is clearly his trainer and manager, why is Mick Hennessey still in the picure??? I mean what is he getting paid for???

Clinging onto the Fury bandwagon for all he's worth, I imagine.

is tyson promoted be frank? i thought he was still promoted by mick but had a tv deal with Frank for his fights to be shown on allegedly.

He'll have a purpose or he wouldn't be there. The purpose may not be instantly clear but there's no such thing as a free lunch.

Unless I missed a press release in the last few days, Tyson is still promoted by Mick.

He's his promoter, Fury signed a deal with allegedly to show his fights and agreed to fight Chisora on FWs show, there's been no announcement of any promotional deal with Queensbury.

Fury is very loyal to mick, who by the way has in no way been responsible for the issues surrounding his 3 cancelled fights.... that would be the promotional work of Hayemaker X2 and FW.

Mick is very much relying on Tyson's success to rebuild his future, without the cash Fury possibly generates the likes of Galahad will either get stuck at a level, or leave for pastures new.

Hennessy's taken Fury out to the States, he's had the majority of Fury's fights on terrestrial and he had a big fight with Haye lined up for him. He's done a good job.

At the recent Fury-Chisora presser Mick looked fatter than I have ever seen him so presumably he is enjoying life to the max.

Fights? Fury doesn't have any fights, just an endless round of tiresome self promotion. At this rate he'll retire undefeated just because he can't get anyone in the ring!

If Warren and Hennessy's roles for Chisora-Fury II were swapped with each other I don't see Warren, therefore as manager/promoter of Fury, letting him fight a substitute as decent as Ustinov and especially given it's on another promoter's show. Credit to Hennessy for that.
