I didn't want to clutter the forum by starting a new thread but the Hearn fanboys appear to be trying to brush ths issue under the carpet in the other Brook thread...
I'm sure you've all heard what Paulie had to say...So here it is again....Brooks interview on the situation with the testing - 5 mins in ..

It appears that neither Hearn or Brook have got a clue what's going on so what was fast car going on about saying he had secured testing in the negotiations??

No offense but where's the proof that Porter is fornicating on anything anyway?! Just because he works with Conte and because Malignaggi insinuated something after getting his arse handed to him?! If this was a british fighter and people were accusing him of being on something without any proof whatsover, people would be going nuts on here.

Alexander said Porter was like the Ultimate Warrior and Paulie has never been hit harder by anybody else and was nearly put into a coma...before these two recent fights Porter was not known as a beast or a massive hitter and then suddenly he starts working with conte..

So would you say Ward is on the juice aswell seeing as he works with Conte aswell? Porter has always been strong. Did you know that he boxed as an amateur at 165 pounds or that on his debut he weighed 170 lbs? Also he's 26 now. Maybe earlier on in his career he still hadnt fully developed his power. You also have to take into account that Paulie is 33 now and has been in a lot of tough fights and his natural resilience has started to wain.

Ps Hearns wasnt a puncher in the amateurs but then becomes one of the biggest punchers of all time in the pro's. Maybe he was on the juice aswell.

Most athletes inject their peds before bed and time they wake up it's cleared their system. Its highly unlikely any top boxer is 100% clean just accept it.

Lets put it this way, given the amount of performance enhancing drugs in professional sport, random drug testing certainly wouldn't do any harm.
I am concerned that there are no random drug tests for this fight.
Random drug tests can only be a positive thing for the sport. Floyd Mayweather isnt a stupid man and he always insists on random drug testing before each fight. He knows...

To be fair, it's only the latter part of his career that Floyd has done that. There's also been rumours in the past that Floyd himself has failed drug tests but the results were covered up. I cant remember what it's called but Floyd is supposed to use that numbing agent for his hands as he has so much problems with them and that is a banned substance itself. I agree that there should be all round testing though.

What are they then? And if that's the case, is there even any point in having drug testing then?

Well my understanding of random drug testing is the drug testers can rock up at any time. I might be wrong tho and it might be a similar system to within athletics where they have to give a time every day where they are going to be in one place. Jess Ennis spoke about this in an interview and said she always chose like 7am that she would be at home. This does open the door to use of peds that exit the body in a matter of 12 hours or so.
If the random drug testing consists of literally having to give your whereabouts every hour of every day, whereby the testers can turn up at any time and test you as many times as they feel necessary, then that in my opinion is about the only way to eradicate drug use. Quite how realistic a system that is tho I don't know.

You sound like a pudendum. Where was it brushed under the carpet, the only fact you have is that Hearn has come out and said it is in the contract. Yet here you are preaching it as fact and condemning Hearn (obviously) based on speculation.

He's probably still surprised Matchroom are in boxing after Barry Hearn sold Leyton Orient.

I just love how his general attitude is blatantly anti Matchroom, but then when called out on it he goes " I want Matchroom to do well". Worst kind of kid, I'd rather he was blatant rather than sly.

Look, you know very well that if it was FW who was about to send his fighter to the states without ensuring himself that testing was being done as apparently agreed you lot would have been calling him the devil of boxing.
Hearn hasn't got a friggin clue what's going on ' it's in the contract' well who is fornicating checking that the terms of the contract are being kept????
Even Brook said in his own interview he had no idea what the hell was going on with the testing and he was bothered by the situation...which was only brought to light by Paułie....
Infact Kell even asked Kugan if he could expand on what's going on!! What use is fast car Hearn!!
He's done another deal to send a fighter to the states by bending over for the Americans in negotiations because he's to scared to have crack at a purse bid and GBP or whoever have bullied him like the rank amature that he is...well it's hardly surprising since both Barry Mcguigan and Hobson have made him look a right twat in recent weeks...anyway back on topic let's see how Hearn sorts this situation out- Kell Brook needs the protection of his promoter otherwise the Americans will have a field day with him and as for fight night it looks like he's going to be faced with a pumped up, roided up Captain America all because fast car fancied another trip to the states without ruffling GBP feathers to watch his kid get brutalised..but who Caracas
It's fast car Hearn the saviour if British boxing so why question him eh!

I would say Hitman, that the point of random testing is that they don't tell you when they are turning up. That's probably why Brook hasn't heard anything.
I would also say that FW has done enough to make me think what I do, him not securing random testing would not be a reason.
But good on you for that last post, it's your coming out party. Can we cut the "but I like matchroom" sh*t now?

As I've never hidden I'm from the Old school and FW is my guy. I'm not silly enough to think that there shoud be a monopoly in boxing though and I'm very pleased about the current setup we have in British boxing. I've praised Matchroom many times especially recently -for example Wembley was excellent, keeping kell as IBF mandatory was excellent, I'm looking forward to Froch-Degale when its confirmed and I will be attending and I'm fully in favour of Hearn leaning this way instead of a silly trip to the US for a Chavez etc etc etc
I'm bitter for a number of reasons which I cant be bothered to go through again so wen Eddie has fcuked up I'm going to call him out...call it my little way of addressing the balance as you only have to look at the reaction of the forums with the Chisora news with the Matchroom brainwashed majority taking a crap on him before he pulls something out of the bag with Ustinov - God bless FW

Haha, I would double check who is brainwashed. And when they almost immediately upgraded BJS to headlining, without even mentioning getting Fury a replacement, I think it outlined their thought process. Also will Ustinov be getting as much as Chisora? Will Fury even get as much?
