If you were say his trainer or someone who he woukd normally take advice from how would you like to see Geale fight?

Personally I would like to see him set up for a BIG shot early in the first round to maybe get some sort of respect from ggg. I know he isnt known for big power but he does seemed to have shown at least some in his last two fights.

That might be the best way to have himself knocked out in the first round.

I'd suggest he head for the nearest exit before the opening bell.

Watch Vince Phillips dismantle Tsyzu, and look for defensive weaknesses. Geale is bound to set a fast pace, so that will help his cause.

Possibly the opposite of your advice! Stevens landed his best punch - a flush left hook on Golovkin's jaw in the 4th round of their fight, which pretty much won him the round. It stopped GGG in his tracks, but didn't particularly hurt him. Then consider that GGG spars with cruiserweights and heavyweights because he doesn't bother defending himself sparring against middleweights who can't hurt him with heavier gloves and headgear on. He has allegedly never been knocked down in his professional or amateur career or in sparring. Geale has considerably less power than Stevens, so I don't think that putting his hopes on one Hail Mary punch is a smart idea.

My advice would be this: fight your own fight, you are a volume puncher and the only chance you have of winning this fight is by being a volume puncher. GGG is going to land the harder punches, so if you are going to get a break on the scorecards, you are going to have to land more punches. Use your jab and your legs when you can, but if you're going to win, most of your work is going to have to be done fighting on the inside and giving GGG plenty of lateral movement. If you need a breather, keep in close and smother his punches.

The only reason I suggested it though was because nobody sees Geale as a puncher and GGG probably wouldn't expect it. but your probably right it would be risky.

Agree re smothering the punches. Take away the distance.
Go to the body whenever possible. Double jab
