Is Vitali v Lacy on this show? Best fight of the night if it is. A real matchup of the world's two best super middleweight prospects. I think the American's might be in for a surprise here.

Lacy's fighting on the Ouma vs Phillips card, so it doesn't look like we'll see that one over here. Shame really, should be more competitive than the Hopkins and DLH fights (which really doesn't say alot does it).

Did anyone see ringsde a few weeks back, with Allen saying he had Bernard's number? Some fighters are real bullshit artists.

I think DLH may have problems with Sturm, he was bullied by Vargas at Light Middleweight and struggled at times with Mosley and Castillejo at the weight too. Hopkins however will have no trouble dismantling Allen IMO, a total mismatch and shows the weakness of the Middleweight division. As for Hopkins-DLH, i see Hopkins winning big maybe even stopping DLH late on - see Hopkins-Trinidad. A controlled beating, Hopkins is just class.

Any boxing on tonight? Man, it's dead since Sky got rid of most Saturday night fights.

Damn! Hopkins looks in even better shape than usual. Allen is going to get whupped.

I think Oscar is going to have a hard night's work against Sturm, he might even lose, Sturm is no great at middleweight, but he's a pretty big middleweight and he's got decent skills.

I see the Sturm fight as being similar to the Castillejo one, Oscar dominated the Spaniard, he won every round and dropped him in the last – as ever his speed and jab were the keys.
The main concern I have about the German is he has decent hand-speed himself. He was a top class amateur and like it or not a 'world' titlist.
De La Hoya will win a comfortable decision.
As for Hopkins-De La Hoya – Bernard is rightly the favourite but I feel this is gonna be a very close decision.
