I know that Chavez broke some ribs of Franky Randall and Broke the bone around the eye area in Taylor's face. I do not know if Pryor did the same damage in breaking bones .

Chavez was simply a heavy handed, accurate guy who hurt you with each shot and eventually broke a fighter down.

The great Aaron Pryor threw lots of punches. I think between him and the great Julio Cesar Chavez are equal in my view when it came to punching power. Chavez in the other hand, he was more of an economizer when throwing his blows. He did not threw lots of punches, but had BETTER ACCURACY in his shots.

Neither was a big one punch fighter but I'd say Chavez carried slightly more power on a single shot basis.

LOL, that's a perfect description of Pryor too.

Pryor would have had more power if he'd not been moving every second of the round. He overwhelmed most with volume, not terrific one shot power.

I think Chavez hit harder and he placed his punches with great accuracy, Chavez's body attack was brutal.

I think it's pretty even
