Bundu is imo the most underated welter in boxing right now. Sometimes it takes something to get his hands going, but he does have fast hands in combo, gifted hands too... nice arsenal of fluid punches in combos... Gavin started and ended nicely and showed major cahoonas to get up from that liver KD...

That was a good fight and they were well matched. Bundu was a bit too clever and powerful and he is world class. Frankie can come again and a loss can be better than an easy win. The fight wasn't easy for Bundu but he is in marvellous condition and seems a really decent man and is very gracious - he's an admirable boxer.

I'm not sure that Bundu has enough power to beat world class opponets but he wouldn't be out of league vs bottom top guys.

I think Bundu would beat the men Kell Brook has beaten and I think he hits hard enough to stop them. I don't imagine he hits as hard as Brook but I think he hits harder than Paulie who has been world level for a while. Bundu looks solid and keeps in good condition, he'll not beat Floyd, Manny, Khan or Thurman but he'd give anyone else a good argument.

To be fair to the Boxing News guys....they gave Bundu the kind of right-up which strongly hinted he was a threat and was most definitely not here for the payday. Be interesting to see how far he can go.....there was the suggestion in the piece that boxing is on it's arse in Italy right now and that Bundu kind of expects to have travel to win fights and belts.

I always thought the Italians got behind their fighters and were big fans, so can only guess it is economics?

True that.

I thought Bundu would win. In all honesty Gavin did a lot better than I imagines he would, he actually went up on my estimation.

The Beast is boxing fan #1 and the best poster on this forum IMO. Dude somehow watches every televised fight worldwide and posts summaries and highlights. You shouldn't be hating, but appreciating.

The Beast is by far and away the best poster here. To me, he is the Current Scene.
