Whats up with him? He fought Abraham, then he takes a 19 months break. He fights again, but after this one, 13 months layoff. One easy fight again, and then... 18 months layoff. How does he earn his money? Why is he wasting his talent?

He lost a split decision to Froch, he could avenge his loss now & be world champion. Or he could beat Abraham again & be world champion. Or he could fight Bika to avenge his brothers draw & be world champ.

I don't think he takes it serious anymore.

Its funny 5 years ago no one could tell his brother Anthony may be a world champ before Andre.

Put him in against Golovkin and you will never see him fight again.

I didn't even know him at this time. First heard from him, when he had some bike crash, and i thought Andre Dirrell would've been hit. Don't think its funny, its just sad. But maybe Bika wins this time, so Andre still has a chance.

With all respect to Golovkin, but Dirrell would be the best he's faced yet. He has a better technique than Geale/Macklin and good power, considering he's been fighting at 168. He's not some light-middleweight like Rosado. He neither has been down plenty of times like Geale, Rosado, Macklin, or Stevens. He even beat him as an amateur.

GGG hasn't fought anyone in the same stratosphere as Dirrell, who is bigger, better, faster than all of GGGs opponents by a mile. If GGG is moving 168, Dirrell is not the guy to target. And Ward. But we already knew that.

GGG defeated Andre in amateurs and he would definitely demolish him now. In order to get to Golovkin's business league, Dirrell needs to defeat a few opponents worth mentioning. I doubt that he is still mentally capable to face a good puncher. Bica or Butte would be good tests.

Berto beat a bunch of good middles and super middles in the am's. Who cares.

If GGG was to move up to 168 for his next fight, Andre would be his best first fight, GGG would be the betting favourate because of the inactivity that Dirrel has had. Would be great for boxing to see this one, I think Dirrell wins it convincingly though.

In amateurs, GGG's advantage in power was not as important as in professionals. If he could outbox Dirrell in amateurs, he will destroy him now, especially taking into account Andre's background with power punchers.

Abdullaev and Pinto beat Cotto in amateurs.Cotto beat this guys in pro

You don't get it. Tyson couldn't fully use his power in amateurs. In Golovkin's case, he has both power advantage and amateur win.

Technically Dirrell would be the best GGG has faced, but his heart is far from the best.
Dirrell would be on his bike from the start against GGG.

I'm far from a Dirrell fan, but that DQ win was fair. King Arthur did hit him when he was down. Not hard enough the justify his BS since, but he was hit when down.

Forget whether Froch beat him or not (He did). If Carl can make it close against Dirrell GGG would walk through him.

I am responding to the claims that Dirrell "couldn't come close" to him in the amateurs. I wasn't trying to say a thing about whether amateur fights mattered or not.
