Anyone else think that Gavin did not make the count, I didn't see him face the ref and hold his gloves up ready to fight and the count seemed longer than stated. Ref saved him. :!:

The count was OK nick, he did well to get up. He was a bit naughty spitting gum shield out, getting that rinsed and put back in gave him an extra 10 seconds.

(I'm glad to see you back again, when is Study next out? Hope he's got his head round it all.)

Yeah he loves to stir the pot. Even though I disagree with him on this and Hall-Butler a case can be made for both.

Anyone who can get up from that in a reasonable count and have the smarts to exploit boxing's shaky rules, hats off to him... i wanted this fight to continue to learn about his caracter... and it's champ level

October 18th is the next fight against Randy caballero for IBF World title in Sheffield. The Hunter is still hungry and age is only numbers.

Nah didn't give up, everyone agreed to disagree and I had other problems in the real world to remove.

Think on this, if the IBF thought stuart had really lost there is no way he would be getting this new shot at the title.

Butler did vacate though and the IBF didn't have to give Stuart the shot there are others who could have had the shot, it saves face if the champion has been robbed due to a dodgie decision to give him the next shot at the title. There is no other explanation for the IBF to bend over backwards to give Stuart this new shot above all the other fighters.

we don't the real reason why the IBF picked him. Other fighters ranked could have turn down the shot for different reason we just assuming. The IBF hasn't said such

IBF placed stuart as next in line others were not consulted, this just doesn't happen unless there is something out of order with the previous decision fact. Forget the woman judge who has made more than one dodgey decision on international fights the other two had it one for stuart and one for butler, how many other champions have lost their title at home especially by having their gloves patted for the first five rounds ? .

yup Gavin was lucky and resourceful. He was soundly beaten in that fight by an underrated champion.

The IBF have a fantastic history of recycling championships, i'm pretty sure they taught the wba heavyweight fiasco how to do it.

Just because ( Lee hang on and punch em low or in the back of the head on the refs blind side haskins ) has beaten someone earlier in their careers doesn't mean he deserves a shot, it can get a tad boring watching haskins constantly grapple his opponents and use his well practiced dirty moves and another thing, he has also LOST THREE TIMES .

IBF Have had their problems and investigations which were followed up with convictions jail time and fines, they are now constantly under the eyes of the American law enforcement. So I can't see how anyone on this planet with an ounce of brain power can think there's still any dodgeyness from the IBF, the dodgeyness comes from this side of the pond.

And who else has lost 3 times, with a dozen less wins and 2 draws...

Ah but that record is without spending most of the time holding and fouling on the refs blind side. If he didn't grapple so much and use his practiced fouls on the refs blind side he would have lost a dam sight more fights than he has. Both stuart and Jamie know how to beat haskins and could do so with ease. He doesn't deserve a shot.
