Absolutely ridiculous.

People say "X division sucks", but that is not the case. The sanctioning bodies and politics suck and rob us of fun, competitive fights.

Not really surprising. After he was handed the WBA lt. Heavy belt, they allowed him to go four years without fighting a mandatory (or anyone with a pulse) and then elevated him to "super" champion. I wouldn't get too comfortable if I were Lebedev because the WBA obviously wants his belt for Shumenov

They'll probably upgrade him to super champ and shumenov fights for the paper belt :KO:

The WBA and certain judges love Shumenov. Makes me wonder why.

...he's been there since he lost to Hopkins...the big issue this month is how the WBA completely dropped Csar Amonsot (previously #6) to make room for Novikov...or how they moved Tell from #14 at 105 up to #6 at 108.

True dat! Shumenov's promoters wouldn't actually put him in with Lebedev
