Good on the BN team for getthing this as it covers the sparring with Golovkin as well as his thoughts on the future. I was impressed by his willingness to take sole responsibility for the defeat to Froch as too many modern-day fighters look to blame others:

Yeah, Groves is alright - hope he does well.

Quality bloke is George. Level headed for one so young. Will be interesting to see how he progresses in the division. Lots of quality match ups to be made. Titles mean nowt to the real fans. Just good match ups.

He lost himself for a while during the Froch saga. I hope this return to more humble is permanent.

He was mildly annoying during the build up to both fights but cannot fault the boys response to the loss. Hats off to him

Good interview, glad he's got his head screwed on again, thought he was getting carried away with all the hype during the build-up to the 2nd Froch fight.

He needs to learn to protect his chin a bit more but can definitely go on to win a version of the world title.

His mental game was outstanding in the first fight, terrible in the second. He should have just concentrated on training, the shock factor was gone, Froch was ready for him.

I would disagree Mickey, thought he fought a very tactically smart fight. All the hype was of a fast start - but he took his time.

Are people forgetting that the fight was razor tight at the end with George seemingly getting more and more in control at the time of the conclusive KO. Some had George ahead.

Officially at least George was just 1 point behind in the rematch at the time of the stoppage, but only 1 point ahead in the first fight. In many ways George was BETTER in fight two.... he wasn't getting weaker and gassing and was coming on strong.

I was hoping for a bit more of an exclusive on the GGG sparring but I guess there is only so much he can say.

i notice they had his old interview on allegedly yesterday but dont know if thats anything to go by?

I have a feeling that Groves's career is not going to live up to the talent. I have a feeling he'll beat Rebrasse and then end up being knocked out by the Winner of Bika/Dirrell.

If he is wise with his money it shouldn't matter financially any more whether he wins his next couple of fights.

If the reports of 22 million for the Froch fight with 2 million to George are true .. Then i think George has had a very succesful carreer up till now , with lots more to come when Froch retires .

Its always nice to see a boxer pull the money in , good on him.
