Impressive enough but what does he have to offer when he faces someone he can't walk right through? This was a very limited clip admittedly, but I saw practically no boxing in there just brute power, that will only get him so far.

(Please, no silly comparisons with Kovalev or Golovkin, before anyone starts, those two ARE quality).

Naoya Inoue's shite too, he only beat the best fighter in the world at his weight after six fights. Winning that fight told me nothing about how he'd handle two lightweights, concurrently.

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't take the fact that it was just brute power as a sign that he doesn't have much else to offer (not sure if you were). There was little reason to do anything other than what he did considering how effective it was.

If i understand you Khytrov in your opinion can beat champions in this weight ?

Also, in terms of style I think comparisons to GGG are appropriate, as they are heavy-handed stalkers, have a similar punch selection, and aren't the most difficult to hit at their respective levels. They are also roughly the same height, have a similar body type, and come from former USSR countries, adding a superficial similarity to a substantive one.

Obviously that doesn't mean they're of comparable quality. Khytrov doesn't seem as polished as GGG and he's yet to prove that his abilities will allow him to keep thrashing opponents at significantly higher levels.

Continuing to fight guys that he can walk through so easily isn't going to help him improve or gain necessary experience. It's very early in his career but it is going to require a step up against opponents skilled and durable enough like Ossie Duran or Rogelio Medina to give him that.

CERESSO FORT (17 - 3 - 1, 11 KOs), loser of his 2 last fights, but he has victories over Marcus Upshaw, Andy Kolle and Dave Peterson. In his last fight he seems faded, maybe is not so good option to make fight with him

DON MOUTON (14 - 8 - 1, 12 KOs) very experienced guy, fought Anthony Dirrell, Badou Jack, Curtis Stevens and others. He was stopped only once, seems a bit dangerous in some fights

ABRAHAM HAN (22 - 1, 14 KOs) big and strong man,, hes coming forward and want fight, many of his fights was against limited oposition, he lost against Glen Tapia via stoppage

This guy is undeafeated with 17 wins and Just 4 KOS but has a padded record, but would be nice to have a undeafeated scalp on Ievgens resume

Tony has displayed proven durability with quality competition, he can very much go the distance

Yeah I agree, I saw the Kennedy and Chatman fights and both of those guys seemed very willing to take the fight to Khytrov and had some success doing it. That might be just how those two fight anyway, but they didn't seem overly respectful of his abilities (until they got caught :P ) So, he clearly does have pop and some nice punch artillery but it does look like he could turn into the type of puncher who can be outboxed.

Willie Fortune isn't a scrub and isn't supposed to be walked through. It was a very appropriate step up and Ievgen passed with flying colors.

Thought the Meza Clay fight on the undercard was a great brawl, Khytrov looked fantastic (not his hair)
