Some eye-watering figures have come out.

900,000 PPV sales = just over 15 million quid
77,000 tickets sold = 6 million quid
overseas TV rights = half a million quid
sponsorship and merchandising = half a million quid

The total revenues created are just over twenty two million quid

And here is where it went

Froch = eight million quid
Groves = two million quid
Sky TV = 7.5 million quid
Wembley fee = half a million quid
Undercard = half a million quid
Misc costs = 3.8 million quid

Impressive numbers !

I imagine Sky paid Matchroom out of their cut too.
Misc costs come to almost four million quid, that would include overheads.

Looks like its based on the Daily Mail article that I got the figures from. Eddie writes a weekly column for the Mail, so I'd be surprised if the journalist has completely made up these figures. If the real figures are anything like the ones mentioned here, its just astonishing really.

I'm not surprised. Wembley stadium was almost full and nearly all my pals were watching it on SBO.

If those figures are correct, which I'm sure they're not, then the show made a 300k loss.

Im far closer to the Vegas fight scene than UK these days, but im led to believe Hearn (E) made an appropriate amount to justify his investment.
