in 2007 Solis started his career with a knock out, since then looked very impressive with his rise to the top and looked very promising, but then something happened, his fight with old Ray Austin was close and boring, he then lost in 1 round to Vitaliy Klitschko after that fought 3 lazy boring fights and lost to Tony Thompson for being lazy after doing very good in the first 3 rounds.
so whats gonna happen to him now, he is 34 years old, he has been lazy for the past couple of years, is going to take this sport serious at age 34 or is he going to become a step up fighter for young hungry rising fighters.
your thoughts.

Like many Cubans (HWs in particular) he has Too Much Freedom Disorder & its likely to now be hiatus filled schedules & *yawn* fights til he retires.

I would hope that he fights a crossroads fight with someone halfway proven, halfway not in the #25 ballpark like Perez, Pianeta, Price, Arreola, Mitchell, Leapai, Browne, Chambers, Mansour, etc..

I think it is a real shame that he has gotten into this lazy mentality, when he first started he was great, but after his fight with Klitschko, I think he just lost the passion to compete at the top level.
maybe it is that mentality of: now that I've fought for the title I've done all I can, so why try harder. He probably doesn't have much of a future as a contender, lesser titles maybe but as for the big titles, i'm afraid he is done.

Hardly the first time a Cuban pro has been lazy. Ramon Garby was another. I don't think he'll ever get it together now.
