This is a good fight for Taylor, in my opinion Taylor has a pretty good chance of winning since Solimon wont be able to hurt Taylor, and we know hard hitters give Taylor problems.

IBF shows here that it is the same shit than WBC, WBA and WBO, how Taylor can fight by the IBF middleweight title if he haven't fought as middleweight since seven years ago?

This is certainly not a great fight, but JT's last 4 fights have been between 160 and 163, which makes them essentially MW fights. He has been fighting as a MW.

160-163 is super middleweight, middleweight is between 154 and 160.

My name may lead some to think I'm biased, but for the new guys, my favorite fighter is Bernard Hopkins.

Unfortunately, Taylor is ranked #15, so he can fight for the title. I always though that was too low for a title contender. I think title challengers should be at least top 5. However, in the event that the champion wants to make a non-title fight, he should have to choose from the top 15. It's very unfair that fights 1-14 get skipped over like this. In the event that a #15 wins, he should have to fight two mandatories before getting a free fight.

Also, here comes the "Haymon pulling strings" comments, as if Arum, King and DLH haven't been doing this kinda BULLSHIT for years. Canelo became a 154 champion against Matthew Hatton, a 147 pound fighter who wasn't near elite. I think it was one of the most blatant violations of title fights in the history of boxing, yet HBO and the majority of fans remained silent.

When fighting for a title then fighters have to make the 160 limit, otherwise it's based on the contract weight. Taylor has been fighting as a MW. Truax, Nicklow, Munoz and Candelo are all MWs.

That sounds about right, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him stop Taylor. Soliman can't really punch very hard, but Jermain seems very fragile and a volume puncher like SS might get him out of there.

Al Haymon is using Taylor as a sacrificial lamb and hoping that he wins so that he can match Taylor with Quillin.

Hopefully the ref is quick to pull the plug on JT.
A light puncher like Soliman is worse than a guy who can get him out of there with one shot imo.
JT could end up taking a prolonged beating in this fight, the commission(which shouldn't be allowing him in the ring period) needs to keep a close eye on JT from the opening bell forward.

A light puncher like Soliman is worse than a guy who can get him out of there with one shot imo.

Good point. I've seen several people defend the fight by saying that Soliman can't punch, but he's actually one of the worst opponents a fighter with a history of brain bleeding can face.

Very high workrate + not much power = a good chance that he lands a lot of punches.

If Taylor wins he would fight Golovkin in a second. And he might literally die.
