For the record just in case everyone is wondering, if you kill yourself you do not enter the kingdom of heaven !!!!!

Not sure if he's talking about Robin Williams, or himself for agreeing to fight Wilder????

Smooth way to sell a fight. Now many people are going to want to see him get punched in the face.

In the world of "come watch me do w/e it is I do" any attention not involving an underage child or a dead person is usually good attention.

NOWHERE in the Bible does it say you go to hell for committing suicide.

In fact, I can prove one instance in the Bible where Jehovah granted a man the strength to commit suicide.

Book of Judges, Sampson asks Jehovah to give him the strength one last time, so that he may die among the Phillistines. And Jehovah gave him back the strength to do so.

Jesus/Jehovah understands our hearts and minds. If we're in pain, I dont believe God would be so full of hatred, to send a man or woman to hell--- when there are many instances in the Bible where Jehovah or Jesus has said give those broken in heart strong drink so that they may not feel pain as much anymore. Jehovah is not malicous.

I can garuntee, if Robin believed Jesus was his saviour at any point in his life, that Robin Williams is in heaven.

I am not a believer.

But I know of a believer who has gone thru bad times and clearly stated the only reason she won't kill herself is because she believes suicide will send her to hell. I will NOT be passing this message to her.

The idea that it would, comes essentially from Judas hanging himself in the Potter's Field just outside of Jerusalem. It also stems from the rather philosophical view that Jehovah wouldn't be pleased with us taking away what Jehovah has planned and envisioned for us--- thing is, Jehovah knows all. The Bible says pretty plainly that Jehovah knew us all before we were ever even born and knows what the future holds for each and every one of us. While we do have free will, and choices, in the end Jehovah knows all. So I have a hard time believing in the idea, that it would send you to hell when there are a few people who were Jehovah's chosen people (Sampson, Saul, etc) who killed themselves outright or asked Jehovah to give them the ability to do so.

However, I would tell your friend--- Jesus loves you, Jesus has a plan, and that Jehovah does NOT put on us more than we cannot handle--- all pain, all struggle, all strife, is there for us to become stronger people--- to become more open and honest and understanding and loving people, to help those who are in need. And all that is true, we are the clay and Jehovah is the potter. We will be shaped and molded, and put to the fire, to become hardened and strong. Jesus isn't called the redeemer and prince of peace for nothing--- all things on Earth must come to pass, and our pain is just for a little while.

Suicide was made a sin in the old Christian church to stop the poor from leaving this world for heaven and robbing the rich of cheap labour.

Thanks Homicide Henry for the insight...I am stunned however, that you haven't been blasted on here..Crazy people believe science and it takes more faith to believe science than it does to have faith in Jesus...Can we REALLY prove that the stars are so many light years away?? No it takes faith to believe it..There are a million other things that take faith as well
