Sam Peter hasn't fought for more than 3 years, but he's only 33 now! He is a devout Christian who neither drinks nor smokes and was recently preparing for the Super 8 tourney. He could still make a solid gatekeeper.
I'll definitely watch him fight Leapai if that comes through. Hopefully it woun't go the distance or it may get ugly at the end

That's a widespread rumor with no proof whatsoever, except that Sam was ploddering around the ring for years now with his sick build and square face. I'd say its hard to tell his age really. But the timeline suggests he can easily be as old as he claims, competing at the Olympics at 20yr old in 2000, just like Wlad did in 1996.

Doesn't he look 27 on a weigh in with McCline (37)?


And per Briggs' suggestion (can u doubt this honorable man had the proof as claimed?) Sam had to be at least a few years older...

Leapai would have Peter for dinner.
Sam's past his prime and hasn't fought since 2011.
Leapai is still active and should win this fight moderately.

Would love to see Leapai v Browne though.

Ya, people are questioning whether the listed age is factual. Here is an article about Nigerian footballers and age-fraud that is relevant to boxing; just as some people have a 'football age', some almost certainly have a 'boxing age':
