I love the openness of this sorta "ring" setup. I'd love to see this more often as I've never really thought too hard about ropes outside of I've often found them annoying as f#ck when I've had ringside or close seats to a fight, but ropes not being there seems to have lil impact on the fighting. I also think I love an actual round "ring" instead of the horribly named square "ring". I kinda dug the 2min rounds more than I thought too although obviously I've seen this before but I've always been anti it just cuz its usually aimed at females or young pros.

Having said that I think if 50k people ordered & saw this ppv I'd be amazed so the chance this becomes something bigger in the sport of boxing where change is frowned on more than gay people getting married by Christians I'd find even more amazing.

And having said all that I did enjoy this fight & thought that was a nice KO by Gabe.

It was an awesome KO I didn't think Gabe would stop him if he won but couldn't seem to miss the right hand and Gabe is ever improving aswell great defence he showed too

Impressive stoppage for Gab.

Do they drug test these events?

These guys have to be careful fighting these sort of fights because they take years off your career. Brutal.

Anyone know what the fighters made?

It looks like Chavez Jr damaged Vera like he damaged Martinez before. Is Froch next ?

He should. He's practically a heavyweight on fight night after putting all the water weight back into his body that the diuretics drain out.
