Kell Brook - who next?

Can't see it being Khan. Khan is lining up Alexander or Guerro for December and wants his big one against Manny of Floyd. brook will likely have an easy defence and perhaps a mandatory early next year meaning the big one we all want could be built up for a summer showdown if they come through their respective fights.
Khan won't want the fight yet; a loss and he can forget Floyd but losing to Floyd he can still get Brook.

Why an easy defense though? He's been fighting relatively easy fights for years until last night. He needs to keep up the momentum. By the way Bundu would be a decent fight as an easy defense if you will. I wouldnt moan about that.

Because if he wants khan it wouldn't make sense to have it during winter. Common sense says have a relatively'easy fight in Sheffield this December before a massive PPV jackpot next summer.

Na i understand the reasoning but it would be disappointing. Bundu would be a decent fight for instance but considered easy compared to the likes of Thurman and co though.

Keith Thurman is a bad ass.
I'd look for khan before rolling that dice.

Unlike khan, brook will take on the elite
An easy first defence bundu, than Alexander, than a showdown with Garcia or Thurman.
Brook - mayweather would be interesting!

Is that the same Khan who has never ducked anyone and is begging for the Floyd fight?

Good point, gents, though the more I watch of Thurman the more I realise he's not quite the finished article. There's a little bit of Kermit Cintron about him, imo. He's a bit raw, for all his power.
Maybe get to him before he gets the seasoning/experience...?

Why should he fight Thurman nobody else is eager to fight Keith? What monetary value does he bring? Getting a bit fed up with everyone saying he should fight Keith Thurman. Kell Brook has just won a title something many people thought he wouldn’t do, people thought he was EU level ffs. Let him have a decent home coming, against a good opponent before fighting another world class fighter, then a big money spinner against Khan. Obviously with good options for both fighters win or lose.

although it pains me, i sort of agree.
Wouldn't like to see it though, given the history, boxing ability, class and HOF quality of Marquez; it wouldn't sit well seeing a young fresh cocky northern dope doing a number on him, a la Khan - Barrera

He should push has hard has he can for Mayweather , after all thats where the pot of gold lies , and think about it , Khan will drop everything for that one big fight , but say what you want about there previous opponents , but Khan has lost and Brooks has not ,, Brooks has a world title and Khan does'nt . Brooks has just has much claim to a Mayweather fight has Khan , but i suspect Floyd would choose Khan over Brook , based on the fact that Khan is chinnier than Kell , and Kell , shown he can step up to the plate , just how much more we don't know and i doubt Mayweather would risk his 0 without knowing .
So mayweather ,, followed by a big domestic fight with Khan , which really would'nt matter what it was for it would make Brook Rich and Khan Richer ,,
Just hope it does'nt become another Hatton -Witter story

Last thing my #1 man-crush needs is to see my favourite fighter man-handled by a younger, bigger, taller dude who won't come forward to be countered.

Thurman was just meant as example mate. Didnt mean him specifically. Kell did mention his name is the post fight interview though so he seems interested in fighting him himself. Would be an interesting and fun fight. I actually think Kell is a better 'boxer' than Thurman. A bit more refined. Thurman is dangerous though and has a rather lethal counter left hook if you're not on your game.

Needs building. At least one defence for Brook so Khan can get in his face at ringside and create a grudge for Sky to debate for a few months.

@columbo
I get that. Thurman isn’t your ideal voluntary, look at Kovalev with Clev...

Its up to Brook if he wants to up the stakes and if he does good for him. Boxing is a business and he should be looking to make an easier fight at home first. The Khan fights sells big if both want it that is.

Can't see beyond the Bundu fight for a homecoming. Bundu is ranked number 3 in ibf rankings and is known over here. Khan will fight the ghost or Alexander. Then if neither get the money call then next summer, big ppv fight with each other.

Is the money call worth that much more than them fighting each other? With significantly more chance of defeat.

I think some people are getting a bit carried away here... Mayweather / Khan / Marquez NEXT
it took 10 years to get were he is now, they obv are not going to rush
it will be... Pushover in nov / dec.... Khan (if he doesn't get Mayweather) in May/June, if that doesn't happen it will be a 'Name' that is more than beatable.. then probs 3rd fight someone who is very good... wont be many gimmes in this division

think maidania only got $1.5m first time.... its the prestige they fight for (as well as sponsorship)
Khan & Brook would probs both fight Mayweather for free
