I have been training local lads at an amateur club for two years aged from 6 - 30.

Helping them get fit with the pads etc and carrying the bucket and such like in the corner at amateur shows.

How do you go about getting involved in the pro game?

Any helpful insight would be most welcome.

Apply to the board for a license.

You have to apply to the board and you will be asked to appear before your area council. If you are successful in your interview you then have to go on a first aid type course run by the baord. Not sure if its a 2 day course

Apply to the boards head office in the first instance then read the rule book and when you are well up on the rules and regulations you can then apply to the area secretary and you will interviewed to see if you are suitable to go on the training course which are held regularly in different parts of the country
