He can do more interesting sh!t & for money so I doubt this happens.

I think it has the potential to be a tough fight for Garcia, but doubt that he would take this fight as it is much risk and probably little reward.

Thats a good point.. I don't know. per boxrec Garcia also has WBA belt. As a fan I would love to see this fight. But I think Garcia probably doesn't get much money to fight Postol and Postol can give him problems so Garcia's people will find a way to make fight not happen. Thats what I would do if I was Garcia's people, so maybe they pay Postol to step aside, or drop belt.

Garcia about to vacate anyway so its a moot point.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Postol has beaten exactly nobody, lacks KO power, and isn't from Philadelphia. That makes him 0 for 3 vs. Danny and a clear candidate to get himself KTFOd by a boxer of Garcia's magnitude.

Zero story here.

EXACTLY. Postol is the definition of a nobody from nowhere when compared to a fighter from Philly. Garcia doesn't even need to dignify this with a response.

Yes, those tough fighters from Philly fighting Salkas of the boxing world.

I can't see Garcia taking this fight, even though Postol did not really beat anybody with a name yet, his style will give Garcia problems.

The only fights that will give Garcia more money then this fight with Postol, is a fight with Lamont Peterson, Adrian Broner or a rematch with Lucas Mathysse, Garcia said he don't want to fight Peterson, he don't want to give rematch to Mathysse and Broner said he don't want to fight Garcia yet.

So if Garcia won't fight Postol, he will have to drope WBC belt and fight somebody like Salka for less money and thats exaclty what i think will happen.

If Garcia stays at 140, he doesn't have a lot of better options than Postol anyway. There's Jessie Vargas, Adrian Broner, Lamont Peterson, and some TR fighters. Most of those options are so-so, aside from Vargas; but Vargas and Garcia might not be mutually interested in fighting each other. But other than that, it's just dudes that Garcia has already fought, and fighters of Postol's caliber.

I thought 142 was a clear indicator this kid wants to move up, probably needs to. The $ at 140 is lacking the $ where he wants to move up to is much better. He should jump up to Welterweight now, he needs to stay active anyway that disgrace of a fight against Salka didn't help him at all or change the minds of the public about losing that fight to Herrera.

I think Danny will be soundly beaten by top WWs like Bradley, Pacquiao, Marquez (if he is not shot yet) and of course Floyd. Not sure how he will look against Thurman, Brook, Porter. I would like to see him against Provo at 140 or 147.

I think the only way they would let him slide is if he were to set up a unification bout with lamont Peterson. I don't think theres any way he fights postol, so its either take the Peterson fight or move up. In my opinion he may as well save himself some time and just make the jump now.

Interesting question then would be who would postol be fighting for the vacant title at that point?

Danny somehow has a way of pulling out wins. He did beat khan and zab Judah on a night where zab actually wanted to fight. I could see danny beating tim and giving pac a run for his money. (Pac isn't what he used to be). And im not sure that he would have much trouble with provo because I think that matthysse punches just as hard if not harder and is a better boxer and we all know how that ended.

I doubt that he can beat Bradley if Tim decides to box. Maybe he could fight Omar Figueroa at 140 ?

i'll admit that it would pretty much be a toss up. I have to say though, Figueroa reminds me a bit of Brandon rios. I think once omar gets up in weights and is forced to face boxers, he may run into trouble.

I doubt this fight happens. I like Postol and think he poses style problems for Garcia, being tall, active, technically sound, and fairly quick, but Garcia has far too many more fruitful options in a Matthysse rematch, Figueroa, Peterson, Broner, etc.

yeah come to think of it they would only suck by a grain of sand more than the beach's worth
they already contributed to sucking, but somehow i was thinking it would be possible to suck worse.
i still think it's garcia-petersen and maybe then postol if garcia feels like it after
