The guy is a champ after 3 fights. If he fights a bs guy or two while defending & gaining pro experience I don't see a problem.

Chonlatarn is actually not a bad fighter... but yes he will get destroyed and everyone will say he is crap.

He fought last friday and didn't look too good

Boxers should be active and should fight their mandatories without delay.
Lomachenko is acting like a champion should.

Just watched parts of a few of Piriyapinyo's fights. He doesn't have much chance here.

Never heard of Piriyapino so no idea if his winning record is worth anything at all, but if you have a title I think it's fair that you are held to a certain standard. Loma is obviously entitled to a stay-busy fight, hope Piriyapino can take him sound rounds.

Find it funny that small site AsianBoxing.info broke this before boxing scene. They have also said that Zou Shiming will be fighting Kwanpichit OnesongchaiGym on the same card.

Considering that Vasyl only managed a MD against Gary Russell Jr., I think they've appropriately downgraded his opposition to help get him a clear victory in his next fight. It's one thing to figuratively throw a fighter into the deep end; but if he has to go life-and-death in every fight and never get any confidence under him or get to physically recover, then his career outlook his going to be short and not very sweet.

Also, Piriyapinyo challenged for Chris John's title. Hard to argue that he's good enough for 47-0-2 Chris John, but not good enough for 2-1 Vasyl Lomachenko.

...and now Zou's opponent has been confirmed as Kwanpichit. That is pretty damned impressive from the lil guys.

Piriyapinyo will give Lomanchenko some rounds, but to be fair, most of 47-0-2 Chris John's opposition was not good enough for Lomanchenko. John defended against a high percentage of lame opponents

In fairness to John he gets a lot of hate for fighting guys western fans dont know he, a lot of those guys were OPBF champions.

Guys like Enoki and Sato were solid contender types, wins over JMM, Saucedo, Yordan and even a shot Gainer weren't awful. Also Hosono wasn't too shabby either. Sure he padded out those defences though it's not like he feasted on total no hopers.
