They are both very good, but havent had any meaningful opposition yet so hard to say how they will react to things when better opponents are found.

It is still very early in both their careers. I dnt think Kal has been wrapped in cotton wool as much as the other prospects in the UK. Yakub Kareem took Paul Butler 5 rounds before being dispatched, Kal could have finished him in the 1st if he didn't need a bit of a work out.

Gamal has the hardest hands in Matchroom (pound 4 pound) so can't wait to see him in 10 fights time.

2 brothers who will most definitely be in the mix, I think that's clear to see.

Yes, good observation!

I like the look of the up and coming talent in the UK & especially the family teams like the Yafais & the Smiths.

It's great for boxing.

Having said that, I see huge potential in TYT & feel their journeys will be eventful to say the least.

Butler v Kal Yafai anyone? For the British title!

Would be a good fight but surely Butler wouldnt dreamof stepping down to British after holding a world title. Kal needs a lot more experience before he meets the Butlers anyway.

He still holds the belt, purse bids were due in for a fight with Jamie Conlan earlier this month, but there was some sort of error with the paperwork so it was sent back out to purse bids next month. I think Butler will vacate anyway, they're looking for a world title fight by the end of the year, if not in October, fighting Conlan or Yafai would be a huge step backwards, he needs fights that will test him at this stage, not an easy night back down at domestic level.

i rate Kal very highly and he could become a world champion

Gamal on the other hand is very limited, seen him in the amateurs and WSB his not great

I hear Kal schooled Butler as an amateur. It's a fight is like to see anyway, I reckon Mr Hearn could make it a biggie!

I think with Gamal, once he calms down and finds his feet will do well. I haven't seen power like that before, not in someone his size anyway. He's young, give him time.

Yeah I agree, I only see one outcome though & that's Kal within 5 rounds via body shots & stoppage.
