A bit of a step up on paper at least for Joshua in September. I think if Joshua wins this then he would probably one place below David Price in the British rankings and could be in line for a British title shot should the winner of Chisora and Fury vacate. Airich is someone who I consider better than the fringe British title contenders below the more recent champions.... e.g. the likes of Sprott, McDermott, Lewinson etc.

His form in recent fights has been okay but typical Airich in that he blows a bit hot and cold. He looked pretty good in a losing effort to Christian Hammer, but sounds like he got handily beaten against Denis Bakhtov, who is someone you would expect him possibly to beat when he is on form.

His chin is also something that is very inconsistent, so don't be surprised it is another blow out victory, but a definite step up.

Airich can punch too, so should carry a bit more of a fear factor than the opponents so far.

I remember Airich as an upcomingh prospect losing to Danny Williams. Can't believe that was six years ago now!

Can't see anything but a two round blowout here. Airich will be aggressive and give it a go but he'll walk on something from Joshua early I feel.

Sprott won't last long either.

Joshua desperately needs rounds. Someone like "The Dinga Ling Man" Darnell Wilson who had a good chin might be a good shout.

Risky fight too soon forJoshua - I am not sure this will actually happen.

It's a good fight, from fan's perspective and development.

Airich is decent, but has lost to every good, and some not good (Tye Fields) fighters out there.

He has been stopped a few times, and this vulnerability will let him down at some stage.

Joshua will stop him in style but it's a good matchup for his first year. Sprott next then Zavorotnyi and Joshua will have had a great opening year and a bit as a pro.

Airich hasn't looked dangerous for a while. Joshua should stop him without many problems.

I thought Zavorotnyi was on the menu for this fight? Still its a step up, no complaints here.

Apparently Joshua will be in a title fight at the London show so unless it's the Southern area or English title then that would probably count Sprott out for that bill. I thought the Zavarotni fight was a good fight for Anthony. I think he needs a fight where he goes 8 or 10 rounds and afterwards columbo comes out and basically says 'ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh his power is over-rated I toooooooooold ya!!!!!' For all the rage it will cause me reading that, and the effect it will have on my laptop as it goes flying out the window, it's what he needs. Airich isn't really gonna provide this.

I'm not sure about that. A few years back Page could have given rounds to almost anyone but last time out he was stopped in 4 by former Super Middleweight Gusmyr Perdomo (best known for losses to Kessler, Veit and Sartison) and has been stopped in 2 of his last 6 (the other stoppage was by Rakhim Chakhkiev 2 years ago).

Prior to those 2 stoppages you need to go back 8 fights for his previous stoppage (Luis Ortiz). At 41 I think he should be avoiding Joshua, Parker or anyone else who is big fast and powerful.

There aren't many recognisable Everett Martins or Garing Lanes any more. Tough trial horses aren't made like they used to be. Joshua could have had a nice workout with Bigfoot or Puritty.

Dominic Guinn is the only one I can think of, off the top of my head, but he doesn't entirely fit the description as he still wins his fair share and occasionally seems to have a little ambition left.

James Toney, still never stopped, gave Browne 12 rounds.
