Sorry I am venting I just am getting tired of him always fighting undeserving fighters in his home country, I wish he would go away.
He was in horrible shape and just does enough to barely get by.
Would not shock me if his team ended up coaxing Johnny Nelson out of retirement.......

I know how you feel. Lebedev, Povetkin, Afolabi... these were good opponents. But i am tired from italian or argentinian cab drivers, who nobody knows. He should fight some prospects like Mchunu, Makabu, Dorticos, Kudrayshov, or known people like Sad Dawson. Maybe a rematch with Lebedev, or a unification with Hernandez, Drozd or Wlodarczyk.

If Klitschko lands like the Italian today, Huck is getting knocked out. Huck could barely finish a light cruiser, after 12 rounds, how does he want to win in the HW?

A lebedev rematch, wlod fight or even Makabu would be great!

Its funny because he argueably beat a top 5 heavyweight but he's pure Shiite. That's funny to me.

He's clearly not pure shit... Yes he can be easy to time and his offensive game seems relatively easy. But he has strong trademark attributes that make him a world class fighter. His work rate, execution, heart, straight punch flurries while going forward and his clubbing right when his opponent is against the ropes are very effective tools.

Very inconsistent fighter. On his game he looks fantastic...then a fight later he looks like a lucky champion...

consistent in one thing winning and in the end that's all that matter. Is any fighter really consistent anyone that I name or you name can be picked apart because the only thing that really matter is wins & losses

If he got the decision against poverkin like he should then be wouldn't be defending his C/W title. He would be defending his H/W title against Audley Harrison and fres Oquendo instead so be grateful

Consistency can be in terms of performance, rather than the W/L, after all many felt he got lucky against Lebedev and Arslan, and he certainly didn't look good tonight.

...pick a bout where Naoya Inoue hasn't looked good if you can ;)

but many believe that he beat Povetkin as well. Not many if any fighters for in boxing history was consistent for all of their fights. I'm a hardcore and I haven't seen not one of Inoue and he maybe a handful
of world classfighters I haven't seen so I can give an assessment on his fight. Is there anyone else you can name on the worldclass level?

Dude has 6 pro fights FFS, with 1 world class opponent. Huck has fought a lot of top opposition. Ward is a better example. Chocolatito is a better example from the lower weights.

Roman didn't look good in the first Rojas bout ;)

As you see every fighter there one or two fight that you can go back with any world class fighter and say yeah he wasn't consistent because of those fights. Like a poster said maybe Ward and Hopkins but that's because they have similar styles

Though on the flip side 2 poor performances in his last 4 fights from Huck does need to be noted. They were one off blotches they were distinctly average performances. Sandwiched amongst them however was his stoppage of Arslan, a GREAT victory.

IMO there is an explanation, personally I think Huck struggles to stay at 200lbs but wanted to go after the record, though maybe he is just a hot and cold guy.

but we also has to know what is expectation for Huck. Who are we comparing him to an elite fighter and top cruiserweight what and who are we comparing him too.

Ahh, I guess I can't slip one by you. But still, lets see Inoue never have a mediocre outing when he's gone so far in his career. Chocolatito is a reliable top performer by my standards.

Personally I'm comparing him to his opponents and tonight he was disappointing, in the first Arslan fight he was disappointing.

Włodarczyk's camp said that they want a fight with Huck but Huck's camp is not interested.

Fiodor Łapin (Włodarczyk's trener): "I wish I could see a fight between Włodarczyk and Huck or Hernandez"
Andrzej Wasilewski: "Germans avoid Włodarczyk and the WBC is not willing to a unification of championship belts"

Hardly. Huck is a very good champion, he just struggles with motivation sometimes.

His in ring heart is undeniable. Sometimes his heart in prep seems to lack a bit. He's a very entertaining fighter and he's got a good resume at Cruiser. I think his mind is at heavy now though. He's been hinting at moving up more and more and I think it showed in this fight. As disrespectful as Nelson was, it wouldn't surprise me if he became Hucks 14th successful defense first though...which is a little sad.

the opponent was physicly strong and durable.

at least does huck go for the kill and always trys his best to tko or ko his opponent and like so many champions who dont wanna hurt their opponents.

huck is with hernandez, lebdev and maybe dorticos and the wlodarzsik amongs the top 5 cw in the world.

No chance whatsoever that Johnny Nelson is coming back to fight Huck. He can't even manage a couple of hours training with boxers such as Bellew on UK TV programme 'Ringside' without getting injured. To think he'd make it through a 6 month training camp, get some desire back, Sauerland to make the fight and it to actually generate interest, is bordering on insane. Johnny has a fantastic job working for Sky Sports.

Hernandez, Lebedev, and Huck were the best fighters in the division. It's unfortunate that Hernandez and Huck have been struggling with lesser opponents. At the same time, it's unfortunate that Lebedev got messed-up by a juiced-up Guillermo Jones. At this point, no one in the division is looking head and shoulders above the rest. Plus the contenders and gatekeepers of the cruiserweight division all seem to be practically as good as the champions. I'm thinking that Thabisco Mchunu may be the guy who proves to be the best in the long run.

I'd say Usyk is the future of Cruiserweight.

Well, he's not that bad...

But he should defend his belt on the road.

Do you agree Ward should have manned up and fought outside the USA during the Super Six?
