This is all......
consistent in one thing winning and in the end that's all that matter. Is any fighter really consistent anyone that I name or you name can be picked apart because the only thing that really matter is wins & lossesBoxing Prospect wrote:Very inconsistent fighter. Consistency can be in terms of performance, rather than the W/L, after all many felt he got lucky against Lebedev and Arslan, and he certainly didn't look good tonight.world ranked wrote:consistent in one thing winning and in the end that's all that matter. but many believe that he beat Povetkin as well. Not many if any fighters for in boxing history was consistent for all of their fights. I'm a hardcore and I haven't seen not one of Inoue and he maybe a handfulBoxing Prospect wrote:Consistency can be in terms of performance, rather than the W/L, after all many felt he got lucky against Lebedev and Arslan, and he certainly didn't look good tonight.world ranked wrote:consistent in one thing winning and in the end that's all that matter. ...pick a bout where Naoya Inoue hasn't looked good if you can ;)
Dude has 6 pro fights FFS, with 1 world class opponent. Huck has fought a lot of top opposition. Ward is a better example. Chocolatito is a better example from the lower weights.Boxing Prospect wrote:Consistency can be in terms of performance, rather than the W/L, after all many felt he got lucky against Lebedev and Arslan, and he certainly didn't look good tonight.world ranked wrote:consistent in one thing winning and in the end that's all that matter. Roman didn't look good in the first Rojas bout ;)chucktaylor wrote:

Chocolatito would be a better example from the lower weights.
Though on the flip side 2 poor performances in his last 4 fights from Huck does need to be noted. They were one off blotches they were distinctly average performances. Sandwiched amongst them however was his stoppage of Arslan, a GREAT victory.world ranked wrote:As you see every fighter there one or two fight that you can go back with any world class fighter and say yeah he wasn't consistent because of those fights. Like a poster said maybe Ward and Hopkins but that's because they have similar styles
but we also has to know what is expectation for Huck. Who are we comparing him to an elite fighter and top cruiserweight what and who are we comparing him too.Boxing Prospect wrote:Though on the flip side 2 poor performances in his last 4 fights from Huck does need to be noted. IMO there is an explanation, personally I think Huck struggles to stay at 200lbs but wanted to go after the record, though maybe he is just a hot and cold guy.
Ahh, I guess I can't slip one by you. But still, lets see Inoue never have a mediocre outing when he's gone so far in his career. Chocolatito is a reliable top performer by my standards.Boxing Prospect wrote:Roman didn't look good in the first Rojas bout ;)chucktaylor wrote:

Personally I'm comparing him to his opponents and tonight he was disappointing, in the first Arslan fight he was disappointing.world ranked wrote:but we also has to know what is expectation for Huck. I'd say Usyk is the future of Cruiserweight.Lackeos wrote:Hernandez, Lebedev, and Huck were the best fighters in the division. It's unfortunate that Hernandez and Huck have been struggling with lesser opponents. At the same time, it's unfortunate that Lebedev got messed-up by a juiced-up Guillermo Jones. At this point, no one in the division is looking head and shoulders above the rest. Plus the contenders and gatekeepers of the cruiserweight division all seem to be practically as good as the champions. I'm thinking that Thabisco Mchunu may be the guy who proves to be the best in the long run.
Well, he's not that bad...pugilisticprofessor wrote:This is all......
