IMO, neither are worth more than 400 bucks per round.

I'm backing Shane Cameron.
He's the only promising boxer in this situation.
Kali's 44yo so he's basically on the verge of retiring.
Where as Cameron's only 36 and has more to offer
boxing than Kali does now days.

I calling it...
Cameron by TKO/KO round 10.

Bit of a lottery. Neither has any solid form. Cameron by late stoppage possibly as he has better conditioning.

Boxrec has this down for some mickey mouse wbo cruiserweight title. Can a 6 ft 5 career heavyweight Meehan really make cruiser? Odd.

Depends who's in the cruiser tourney & naturally if Main Event shows it.

Chief support is going to be Aloua/Baff and from what I gather the cruiser super 8 is an NZ versus Australia concept.

That should interest Main Event. Can't see it charging more than $29.95, so it better get a good deal

Meehan to ko shane is my pick, power wise kali has more but is slower.

Chin wise both look to wobble but kali with the better whistkers ,

cameron better stamina ,

kali has shared the ring with the better fighters overall.

Style wise they match up good cameron come forward and bang , meehan a bit uncomfortable with the pressure but himself is quite a awkward unpredictable puncher that shane has never seen before and with power to stop him , one punch.

I rekon about as good of a fight we will have seen in nz since the destruction of mountain man by the tuaman.

loser retires for good, winner has a money fight with parker, brown or leapai loser of that fights demori for chump change.

As much as I'd wanna see Shane Cameron win and carry on
where he left on in his boxing career - it's highly likely that
Kali would win either as UD or TKO in the mid term rounds.

Cameron's got better fitness than Kali does, and that's Cameron's
biggest advantage at the moment. If Cameron can weather the storm
till the later rounds, Kali (being of old age) wouldn't have the fitness
to keep up with Cameron.

Other than that, if Kali won through UD, then that'll basically be because
Cameron doesn't work as much in the ring as he should. He's a bit stiff
when he fights; his fight with Danny Green can vouch for that.
Seems to be a bit too technical with his punches instead of just letting it
follow through naturally.

If Kali won through TKO in the mid term rounds it would be because Cameron
wouldn't know how to answer or defend from a barrage of punches being thrown
at him all at once.

But in saying that, I hope Shane Cameron floors Kali and gives everyone
the upset they didn't expect. What a waste would that be if Kali won only to retire
within a year or so due to his age. It's only right that Cameron wins, he shows
more promise and has more fights to come. But if he loses, that'll be the end of
a boxer who had a lot of boxing years in front of him. We'd be sitting around telling
ourselves "I guess we'll never know how far he (Shane Cameron) could have gone"

Bit of a lottery is a good call. Impossible to pick a winner with any confidence in this one.
