If Klitschko is successful against Pulev, who do you think his next opponent will be?

Will it be the winner out of Fury vs Delboy (who will be WBO madatory), the winner out of Wilder vs Stiverne (to unify the belts), Ruslan Chagaev (the WBA regular champion), the winner out of Ortiz vs Kayode (who will become the Interim WBA regular champion, I hate the WBA!!!), Vyacheslav Glazkov (who I presume will become the IBF mandatory if Klitschko beast Pulev) or will he take a voluntary defence???

It may be hopeful thinking on my behalf, but Im going with Fury vs Klitschko Q1 2015 :)

Also if you think Voluntary then who??? My guess, Im sad to say, will be Antonio Tarver if he beats Banks :/

i actually thought hed pull out of the pulev fight as when they were doing there Restuaraunt fight Wlad "hurt" his hand,

was expecting Pulev fight to get scrapped and then hell fight Briggs

although the Pulev fight is still happening apparently,

It should be Tyson and then we will see his most crazy press conferences of all. Mainly because he will be crapping himself. All that bad mouthing he has done (under the proviso that he'll never land the fight) will result in the actual fight.

Does anyone else think the so-obviously-staged stuff between Briggs and Wlad has been an epic fail ? It made me want to see the fight less, rather than more.

I dont think it was staged myself. I think Briggs is obviously playing it up but I really dont think Wlad was in on it. I dont think he could give a toss about fighting Briggs. He seemed genuinely bemused by it all.

Briggs actually made David Haye's antics seem very half assed.

I think Wlad would like the Wilder vs Stiverne winner, although i think the victor of that will run a country mile for comfortable defences.

im going to say Takam may get a surprise call up especially if he performs well against Povetkin.

Chisora would take it, i imagine Fury would try to stall for a while.

A complete longshot i will say is David Price. Cheap as feck. People over here would likely fall into the trap of watching it and believeing it could be competitive etc.

This is boxing... and the heavyweight division.... so what you really want to see... seldom ever happens... and when it does... it rarely ever lives up to the hype... so... in my opinion it will probably be a voluntary defense against the old, comebacking, desperate Shannon Briggs...

If Wlad wins I think Glazkov makes sense, especially if Wlad is particularly concerned with accumulating title defenses to challenge Holmes and Louis's marks.

Glazkov can be promoted as an unbeaten Olympic medalist despite not being much of a threat, and although he looked quite poor last bout I think he's a defensible choice immediately following a win over what seems like the consensus #1 contender. His difficulties with Rossy may have also made him and his team more eager to cash out.

Fury or the winner of Stiverne-Wilder would have me watching with at least a soupcon of intrigue about a possible upset.

Still think Wlad breaks them all down with his trademark cautious ease.

Maybe Pulev puts in a great display and earns a rematch?

Can't see it being Briggs but isn't he with Haymon? He'll be used at some point, whether it be Stiverne after he stops Wilder. Though, after Quillin dropped his belt to cater to Al, it's clear where the money man in boxing is.

I'd love to see Fury get the shot. His career has just stopped after his last outing, was it Altobell... But if you think about it, Fury v Klitschko could be a sky PPV event if it's planned right and staged in the UK with Joshua on the undercard for the British next year, plus Matchroom fighters, Eubank Jnr, couple of K2 prospects. I'm sure Matchroom and Sky have a good relationship with K2. We can dream!

But how Wlad will achieve this without losing a belt or favour with the IBF is another matter.

Fury also tweeted something odd and intriguing a few days ago considering his rematch with Chisora has been confirmed ...

Ahhh that was the tweet, not quite how I remember it. But 'watch this space' does imply new and exciting news to follow?

Nevertheless, I still feel something is up as no tickets on sale for excel and no press conferences. And Klitscko's 'bicep' was the same 'injury' he had on one of his Chisora pull outs.

If Fury were to fight Klitschko would it be on B.o.x.Nat-ionz as part of his 3 fight deal with F Dub?

I went for Stiverne as i would like to see Wlad make history by holding all 4 world titles,never been done before at HW(isnt Hopkins only fighter ever to do it?) I like Wlad and he'll never get the full credit as his opposition hasnt been great,not his fault

On a personal level i'd like to see Fury get a shot as he's British and ive seen every one of his fights

Most exciting though would def be Wilder

Any of the 3 above and i'll be happy

You could argue that's exactly why it shouldn't be Shannon Briggs. Acting like an idiot shouldn't be deemed a good reason to give a person a shot at the biggest prize in the sport, even in a division as poor as heavyweight.

Having said that, I do agree that it'd be funny if Tyson Fury got a shot at Klitschko. Just because the guy acts like such a bully boy, which is the total opposite of Klitschko. It's partly due to the fact that he knows they're the top dogs in a pretty mediocre division, but when an opponent is acting like a twat, he tends to be more quiet, more unassuming and just take care of business. It would be mildly amusing to see Tyson Fury try to act all tough, and then get his arse handed to him. Haye would've done it, if it hadn't have been for his constant pulling out.

It's a shame, but sadly I think the heavyweight division being what it is, title shots are given to people who act in a certain way in press conferences, because there isn't really many fights that you can make to create the interest for any other reasons.

im not saying i want it to be Shannon Briggs incase thats what folk are reading,

They are the ultimate athlete scholars and gentlemen outside the ring, however business wise the are ruthless and they play dirty as per the examples above they just do it in a clever way.
