Jay'z actually bid on quillin vs koborov on purpose knowing that the fight would not happen? It kind of makes sense, they bid way high but most in the industry thought that it was a power move by roc nation but what if it was because they knew it was not going to happen, they did not spend a dime and still made a lot of noise for themselves while making haymon look bad and cost one of his champions a belt.

I kinda think anything is possible with that whole debacle. The one thing I know is Peter looks like a bitch if he don't fight for $1.4M &/or fights someone who's a top 5 type of guy next.

It would seem petty to me if Al has beef with Jay Z over musical sh!t & because of that would deny his fighter a career high payday by 3x apparently vs a guy he'd be favored over. And idk if Roc Nation gets much upside from this sorta press. Boxing is filled with fights that don't happen, whats one more? Unless there is an angle with this fight not happening due to petty sh!t that they will capitalize on in the future I don't see the point of a overly high bid for a fight no one really cared about. I think Roc Nation made this bid with the intention of the fight happening.

I still think that Roc Nation is seriously trying to f*ck with Haymon's head and they are doing a good job.
