I was involved in this years ago having 50 fights. It was never known as or referred to as semi pro. It was unlicenced boxing and always will be in my opinion The odd bellend called it that but other than that no one.there was and is a few decent boys fighting on the shows. There's also a lot of complete tosh.i faught lee purdy. Tom glover, Leo o'rielly Matty Leonard. One or two other ex pro's. Who's names escape me. Was supposed to be fighting Nicky cook in a few weeks time but it's not worked out.so other than fighting a name I'm not interested anymore.there are a few fun fights to watch but also a lot of stinkers. One thing that can be said is the boys. Tho not naturally good fighters go all out to win. Resulting in a few good fun fights
