next scottish challengres

after watching kris carslaw beating john thain in pasley at the weekend and also the highlander gary cornish i wondered who would our next scottish challengers for the british title would be adn how will they get on at tsht level?
kris carslaw looked a beast on saturdy and maybe it will finally be his time to shine whne he gets his chance agan.
gary cornish wasnt that impressive against the war machin e and i think he gets beat by anyone whio trys
john thai n can come again and he looked a beter fighter than the person tht got beaten from ronni heffron so with the right bouts befre his next challenge he might pick up the british
there must be othr boxewrs in scotland that could be challengng soon so who are they and will thy manage to pick up the british or more?

currently i dont think theres many at that level ,
steven simmons could probably challenge for the belt but hes not looked great in his fights seems a bit easy to hit.
to be honest the only real challangers for a British that would put up a good fight and have a chance are in my opinion
Ricky Burns who would be dropping down a level and Scott Harrison who although got beat off Liam walsh was still as hard as nails and in extreme condition for someone that had been inactive in the ring.

Willie Limond obviously is British champ but see him getting a big pay day off one of the top promoters for there Star to win it.

Seems the old gaurd in scotland is still flying the flag of sorts.

If Scotland becomes independent later this month will Scotish fighters still be able to fight for the Lonsdale belt?

I don't think they'll vote 'yes', but if they do, my opinion is that they should not be allowed to fight for the Lonsdale belt. In addition, I think that all Scottish boxers should have their BBBofC licenses instantly revoked. You're either with us or against us.

michael roberts is a v good bxer and once he is stepped up im sure his class will tell. ronnie clarke is the ex kckboxer and i have seen him box a few times and heardall the talk btu i just dnt see it. he is slow and crude and looks like he thnks he can punch but his fights alwys end up messy. id favour micheal roberts to beat him handily.
stevie simmons must be due a shot at teh british and i think he hsa a v good chance of winning thta and the euro belt. wish his team would put a show on in edinbugh so he can give his home fans a show of ther own.

Roberts looks poor to me, no power in his punches to help elevate him when he goes in against people will boxing skill more equal to his own.

When I saw this thread I was going to ask the same question - I also agree with the comment from Sklar (Ronnie had better tell all his family and mates to vote "no" !).

Regarding independance comment with or against us, your a pudendum and your boxing board are as corrupt as your government , as for slow and crude, spot on, idiot, ronnie is accurate and leaves it all in the ring, may be crude at times but if you think he's slow you have never seen him fight, he's very fast and also posts from his own name and doesn't dish out insults behind a false persona,

?? jnr or snr what you on abot lol ive watched him at the shows in pasley and he was crap. he strugled with cristian laight and michael mooney. at one time in the mooney fight he was hurt and had to hold on. i think he woudl get beat from lots of the scotish fighters just now not just michael roberts, jon slowey, kris hughes, darren trainer, ryan collins and if zander white could dpo lightweght i think he would caues him big problems. can you honostly say that he quick hands lol you sure you have ever watched him

Haaaa... The aba made me go down the right procedures and I had to fight in the novice championships to get the fights before I could be open class! I never intended to box amateur coz I didn't like the head guard and big pillow gloves! Seems the amateur game is getting much better and more real! :)

Defiantly someone from the Morrison camp as he's named all Morrison fighters basically haha, if they would all beat him then why they not fought him, zander white been ducking ronnie before pro boxing, nice guy but different levels, he got beat from al hamidi who Ronald schooled! Ronnie has never since turning pro lost a fight, Michael mooney wasn't a close fight not was kristian Leight, who says on facebook ronnie was one of the top fighters he had been in a ring with, as did Abdul rashid! None of the afore mentioned fighters would beat ronnie and if they would they would want the fight, won't happen for lack of ronnie refusing it !

Fair enough mate - seems a bit strange as you may be voting for a Scottish Title shot being the pinnacle of your career.
