The Juanma fight on the undercard is a little more interesting.

i'm actually not interested in the Juanma fight whatsoever - or else i would have posted about it!!!!

I agree Ortiz will probably win, but not by KO. Kayode is very crude and can certainly be outboxed, but I think he has a good enough chin (and Ortiz's workrate will be low enough) to hear the final bell.

Lateef fought to a draw with a roided-up top 5 cruiserweight. Ortiz has been much hyped and anticipated for many years, but never sufficiently tested. This is the only pro fight that has mattered in Ortiz's entire career, and only the second fight of Lateef's career that mattered. Neither are in tight contention for a title shot right now, but either one with a big win will be in the picture somewhere. I hope the outcome is decisive and not controversial.

Second most interesting fight of the week for me. Primarily because of Ortiz, I still believe he can achieve things in HW division. I think he blasts Kayode without much problem.

the only good thing about these fights are , someones 0 has to go and it pushes another guy into contention for bigger fights

True but wins over the then touted Marrero and Rico Ramos in his previous 2 bouts were solid wins. Think he was the clear under-dog against Marrero, 50-50 with Ramos and favourite today.

ortiz actually looks like a decent heavy----but kayode is a fn bum. he could have held....or took a knee...or ran... or threw a jab.. but he sat there and got pummeled.
