More chance of hugh hefner being a virgin than hearn/Gallagher putting crolla in with crawford. Would be a onesided beatdown. I must admit burns give him a much better fight than I though he would, wasn't as onesided as I predicted still a near shut out though.

I would of quite liked to of seen Crolla vs Burns actually to see where Crolla is. He seems like a nice guy but I dont hugely rate Crolla to be honest.

Would prfer to see crolla vs figueroa. This kid looks about 13 but he's an absolute animal never seen him take a backwards step. Stylistically a much better fight for crolla but still very unlikely he would win.

Yeah ive seen a bit of Figueroa. I think he would grind Crolla down for a mid/late stoppage win.

his oppenness would give crolla plenty of opportunities to make a fight of it while it lasted. not sure I can remember the last time I saw a world level boxer square himself up so often.

Crolla's nothing more than a domestic level lightweight in my opinion (thats not a bad thing by the way).

I'd rather see him in some interesting domestic dust ups rather than rather than plot and con his way to a world title shot that he'll lose.

I like Anthony a lot but Crawford would beat him easy.

The same reason he won't let any of his lighweight fight for the commonwealth, they are both very tough fights. I think marsilli is still the euro champ who disposed of derry matthews quite easily and crolla would defo be an underdog. Hearn and Gallagher are trying to get him a title shot the easiest way possible.

If you fall short at world level, you are generally perceived to be absolutely fine to contest European titles and domestic ones. It doesn't work the other way round though, if Crolla failed to win the European title it would be absurd to move him towards world titles. There is sense in how virtually every single matchroom fighter seems to be aiming for a world title fight this season. Most will fail, perhaps all will fail, but there is still a future, at a lower level.

Fair play to Crolla for waiting for Crawford to move out of the division, it is a common sense approach, he would not win a round. Its a more honest approach than what's going with the WBA having two, or sometimes three, champs in each division. If you don't think you can beat the champ, wait for a better opportunity.

Not the right attitude for me

Got a lot of time for Crolla, but he's been in some wars for someone relatively young. The fights with Farrell, Murray, Matthews spring to mind. Decent domestic-to-european level fighter - wouldnt think he's have much chance at an elevated world level.
