As the title of the thread :-)
I've seen a clip of it, disgusting, should be a long ban coming his way.Lenny wrote:Knocked him out, fell over him trying to throw more shots with the ref jumping in and game Wilson a kiss whilst he was lying unconscious before getting up and celebrating with a throat cut gesture
What an arsehole!expe wrote:I've seen a clip of it, disgusting, should be a long ban coming his way.Lenny wrote:Knocked him out, fell over him trying to throw more shots with the ref jumping in and game Wilson a kiss whilst he was lying unconscious before getting up and celebrating with a throat cut gesture
He shouldn't even be in the country anyway, somehow managed to claim asylum after slipping out of the athletes village during the Olympics, came out with the usual line of his life being in danger if he returned, even though he was perfectly safe when he got onto the plane to London and was granted permission to remain in the country after an appeal. He probably knew that by doing a runner he would be in trouble when he went back to Cameroon, so any threat to him was created by himself, fully knowing what he was doing, to me that means he should be deported to face the consequences, not our problem if he unnecessarily put himself in danger.frankgreaves wrote:What an arsehole!expe wrote:I've seen a clip of it, disgusting, should be a long ban coming his way.Lenny wrote:Knocked him out, fell over him trying to throw more shots with the ref jumping in and game Wilson a kiss whilst he was lying unconscious before getting up and celebrating with a throat cut gesture
Bad behaviour no doubt, but why doesn't tough man 'expe' try fighting in another mans country. Or are you to cowardly? Fancy a trip to Cameroon? I think it would make a good film? up for it boyexpe wrote: He shouldn't even be in the country anyway, somehow managed to claim asylum after slipping out of the athletes village during the Olympics, came out with the usual line of his life being in danger if he returned, even though he was perfectly safe when he got onto the plane to London and was granted permission to remain in the country after an appeal. Adrenaline may have caused the cut throat gesture but the kiss goodnight was premeditated you don't just come up with that in the moment. The Law wrote:Here's another clip of the knockout and the 'kiss'. I expect him to be punished for this but it will most likely be a fine and/or a short ban. I think adrenaline was partly the cause for this act of sheer stupidity.

Exactly,pal..what the guy did was wrong but wtf does it have to do with his claim for asylum? Thats it, i now retrospectively request tony wilsons mum be put back on the banana boat for what she did..for fcks sakettornado wrote:Bad behaviour no doubt, but why doesn't tough man 'expe' try fighting in another mans country. Beyond being based on conjecture rather than fact, nothing.Sklar wrote:expe was only expressing his opinion, what's wrong with that?
Bad news. All the best to Jerome.Parson Cross wrote:Devastating this. I know both lads really well and to see them going toe to toe was hard enough aside from the outcome.
Jerome is in a serious condition. He's in an induced coma and they've removed some bone to relieve the pressure.
Praying for a positive outcome. It's been a long night for everyone.
Indeed, the most important thing is Jerome's health. We all hope he makes a full recovery.Parson Cross wrote:Devastating this. I know both lads really well and to see them going toe to toe was hard enough aside from the outcome.

Exactly my point in mentioning tony wilsons mum, which is just as irrelevant as the initial point made by expe. wtf has someones immigration status got to do with actions that are not illegal? Why bring it up? 'send him home' was the implication..fckin farage would be proud...anyway just heard jerome wilson isnt too well so just hope he gets better asap.Sklar wrote:expe was only expressing his opinion, what's wrong with that? A lot of asylum claims are spurious and it costs us all, whatever your own ethnicity and background. I don't see the relevance of using Tony Wilson's mum as an example - she wasn't a bogus asylum seeker, she was an immigrant who added value to the country from the moment she arrived.
I agree with The Law on the likely outcome.
