Kirkland ruined him forever.

He absolutely sucks now.

Time to hang em up.

I agree, completely shot.
If he won't retire stick him back in with Kirkland.

Angulo made $500 K for this fight, his opponent who beat him made $38 K.

Angulo didn't even deserve 1/10 of his paycheck.

This fight is the kinda fight that makes me wanna see a winning purse & losing purse for guys. Its kinda f#cked up Alfredo made a half mill getting his ass beat so one sidedly. The UFC gots a solid idea with this sorta thing with a show purse & a win bonus. This is still a asses in seats sport so give Alfredo a bigger purse cuz he's the draw between him & DLR, but if he don't get the W he shouldn't get the full 500k & DLR should be getting a bump in pay if he gets the upset.

Angulo better save that $ bc he'll never see a big payday again.

Angulo was never really all that good a fighter.
Has probably accomplished what he should in boxing---a fringe contender who wasn't near elite status.
I think he can continue as a gatekeeper. Guys who beat him are potential contenders. Guys he beats are journeyman status.

Yeah, the old Angulo would have put this guy's light out. Hill told him in between rounds that he needed to win or that is his career. I wonder if Hill will continue to train him.

Angulo is an unique example of boxing recklessness.

He's the only fighter i've ever known of repeatedly coming in worse shape for his biggest bouts as compared to his lesser bouts.

His first loss to Cintron was due to a case of bad flu during preparation .

During his second loss ( Kirkland) he came in with a 3 rounds tank, inexplicably, and got ruined for good.

The effects of the Kirkland beating were clear during the Lara bout.

His toughness & motivation maybe gots a low limit. He seems like a cat who's gonna be happier when he's a middle of the road salesman for a company & can just knock back a few beers after work every night & count on xxx dollars in his bank account each week. He's a regular mfing guy who's gotten pretty far in the boxing game all things considered. I think you kinda gotta be a dreamer & @ least a lil ego driven to be a high level boxer. He should probably start filling out some job applications & squirreling away some money cuz idk if he should be boxing much longer unless he's just trying to talk like the old Hector Camacho was by the time he's 40.
