Tunney, Criqui, Carpentier, Siki, Greb, and Joe Lynch off the top of my head.

In terms of combat veterans Mike O'Dowd's page says
'O'Dowd was the only world's champion to fight at the front during World War I (1918, while serving in the U.S. Army).'
