Too spend my hard earned , for me its a easy one , , Cleverly ---Bellow.

Don't think I can remember the last time 2 bills that were as big as this were on the same night. Is gonna be a case of watching both at the same time.

Fury and chisora with Eubank and Saunders is by far the better bill
Bellew talks a good fight - still to see one whilst I think cleverly as had his day

Whoops , forgot about Saunders -Eubank , this would be the prefered fight to watch out of the three . So guess it would be that one .

Does anyone really believe the bad blood between Cleverly and Bellew? Does anyone actually think the winner will go on to a world title? I think most of us will only be switching over to watch Joshua v Sprott or whoever he happens to be against.

Chisora v Fury is the better bill as it stands but we'll see

If the eubank vs bjs fight actually happens then this is the one to watch.

Of hardcore fans Chisora bill but Bellew one does much better overall viewing figures.

How do people think it would go if they were on a level playing field? Both on the same type of channel?

i think its hard to compare them at the moment because no one knows who will be on the under cards.

in the next week or so the cards should be announced and then we can say what card looks the best and what card would get the most viewing figures

Boxing fans are the losers. Two big shows clashing and nothing for the rest of the month of note lined up in the UK. Sky should be the bigger man and announce Cleverly-Bellew for Nov 15 or 22. All it will do is split the TV audience (and encourage those that would buy tickets for either to stay at home), thus giving everyone who wants to bash boxing the chance to point at low viewing figures.

This exactly! I fear its too late for Matchroom to change the date though, I know its not been announced but believe its pretty much set.

Seeing SKY have around 5 million SKY Sports subscribers it's likely they will get more viewers on the night.

Sky will win but IMO the card at Excel will be better as nothing Hearn comes up with will better BJS vs. EBJ
It's good that allegedly is reacting by putting on what looks to be a decent card because what's been on Sky recently has been piss poor

Both cards are going to be stacked so the card with the least pull outs.

Bloody hell. After 40 years of watching boxing, having boxed, been to s.hitloads of bouts and attended Lennox Lewis's pro debut AND final fight live it turns out I'm not even a boxing fan

I'd much rather watch Fury Chisora than Bellew Cleverly. Toss in Saunders-Eubank (I've got some traveller blood & went to about 15 or so Eubank Snr bouts so I'll stay on the fence) and Sykes v Walsh & it's a much better bill.

I missed the first Bellew Cleverly fight as I was at the Staples Centre for Hopkins Dawson - as a guest of Golden Boy. Not bad for a circus fan

According to Dan Rafael on twitter, Bellew v Cleverly is looking for a new date

Although Kevin Mitchell just tweeted saying his next fight is at the Echo Arena on 29th so maybe not

If you look at the latest ntocies from the board they also confirm Limmond v Nurse will be promoted by Eddie Hearn on the 29th November at the Liverpool Echo.

Would be great if they did move the date though. I don't big up Eddie a lot (enough do far to much so I try to balance it out) but that would be the sensible and fan friendly move.

I agree. I was a big Eddie fan but quality of fights are slowly decreasing back to the FW era.

But to be fair regarding changing the date, a deal might already be in place for the Echo so might cost to much to change

just checked and the 22nd November is free at the Echo so fingers crossed

Regarding the head to head stuff, obviously the promoters are doing it deliberately. I've watched this with interest over the past year or two, earlier this year I recall they were going to do it in Liverpool and Fwank blinked first and moved one of his shows. It made me wonder if this was, more or less, bullying - Fwank announces his show there first, Eddie announces his, so Fwank has to move his because he cannot compete with the "star" names on the bill or the backing of Sky Sports' promotional efforts.

At this risk of giving this too much thought than it actually warrants, I wonder if Fwank is prepared to go toe to toe now with the same dates, with the intention of costing Eddie viewing figures on Sky. That is the one thing Eddie is vulnerable to, that Fwank could affect. Last week, Fwank put some comments in his column about how fewer than 100,000 viewers watched Scott Quigg's last fight, against Munyai. Fwank was making the point that the viewing figures were crap. If he stages Fury/Chisora 2 with BJS/Eubank on the same night, Sky's viewing figures will be impacted on.

What I'm saying is I used to think if Eddie wanted a set date, Fwank would have to move out of the way. Now I wonder if Fwank would deliberately aim to go head to head. Sky have put all their eggs in one basket with Eddie and if the viewing figures are crap, heads would roll sooner or later.
