Boxrec ignoring BN tv channel - reason for this approach?

I appreciate there have been major disagreements between Wazza and boxrec but does anyone know why boxrec pretends BN doesn't exist? At least of the purposes of schedule listings anyway.
For example there are 3 tv cards this weekend, but the Queensbury event doesn't have a tv network listed.
I can understand a lack of coverage if, say press credentials are withheld, but to gloss over the existence of the channel itself could appear to be practicing the very censorship which Wazza has been accused of.
It seems a minor but significant gap in what is an otherwise remarkable source of reference.
Thoughts?

Agree, Boxrec should be 'the bigger man' in my opinion.
Its the same with having to type w-a-r-r-e-n or b-o-x-n-a-t-i-o-n like that on this forum.

On a more positive note BN are offering 10% discount on fight tickets for all their Sky subscribers, this includes tickets for the Fury/Chisora/BJS/Eubank card.
As for the absence of BN on the schedule, that's not a question I can answer. It's a question for John Shep

Got all excited then but I subscribe via Virgin Media so not for me
Agree though overall still good news.

Maybe the risk of FW beginning legal proceedings for anything he doesn't agree with is enough for Boxrec and some others to decide to steer well clear?
Just my opinion, I have no trusted information on any of the alleged wranglings but from the outside it looks simply as though FW is persistantly looking to target anyone who doesn't share his views - allegedly. He even allegedly did it to iFilm when they allegedly uploaded a video where Barry Hearn allegedly said something he allegedly didn't like!

Cheers. Just seems a little petty to me, two wrongs and all that.
A couple of years ago many assumed the channel wouldn't last, so the boxrec policy didn't really matter, but it seems to have become much more established.

I think it may take more than a 10% discount to tempt sceptical punters into opening their wallets this time round.
He has added Sykes vs Walsh to the bill too, that has got fight of the year written all over it. He added this to a big show earlier this year at the Copperbox and it fell through. I'll say this though, if that and the two main events come off, it's one hell of a show by anyone's standards. Its just a shame that, on the night, the main event will be probably be Bradley Skeete vs Peter McDonagh.

I think the Queensbury boxing league or whatever it's called (no disrepect I genuinely can't remember) is not proffesional but 'semi-pro' so it wouldn't be on boxrec, but I may be totally going the wrong way here!

Sorry your getting mistake 'the queensbury boxing league' is some sort of white colar/not BBBOC regulated (no such thing as semi proffesional boxing) organisation, run by Roger Minter.
What people are talking about above is Frank/Francis w.a.r.r.e.n's shows which is officially called Queensbury Promotions.

If we could stop if the childish conspiracies about cancellations and look at the bigger picture. The bill itself looks good, the 3 first bouts announced are good.
Peter Fury on Bayloric TV has announced that Eddie Chambers, Hughie Fury and Young Fury will also fight on that bill.
So it is a decent show.

I'm more interested in the opponents that just the pure fact someone or other is appearing.
Last time the likes of Chambers were on, it was non-televised and 5pm or something wasn't it ?
If I won a few lottery's and had the finances to open up a boxing channel, I'd be airing all fights on the bill. I'd probably be roaming and interviewing people arriving at the venue at tea time onwards and taking a different approach to the way boxing shows are covered.
Make the viewer feel like he is there a bit more.
Break the mould of "8pm and the cameras go live, the music/intro begins and then it fades to the 2 commentators and a guest boxer stand with mic and say what a great evening is about to happen"
No I would rather we had 'Toilet Cam', as the roided up punters smoked cigs and swilled plastic pints whilst fighting amongst themselves. Then perhaps 'C lister Cam' which can be selected and would show a load of disinterested former Eastenders soap stars playing snakes on their nokias during the main event. 'Ticket Tout Cam' which shows a broken man outside with bundles of unsold tickets for a show where the main events have all fell through.
I'd hire Dennis Pennis to roam the fighter's changing rooms asking awkward questions.
Imagine all that - and I was only going to charge you the price of a pint of beer a week? Don't tell you wouldn't buy it because you would.
etc etc.

The 10% discount basically covers Eventim's ludicrously expensive booking fee. So if you buy off Eventim you're basically paying the same price as you would if you bought off a boxer. So in reality no discount.

It looks like a decent show, and at this point in time, they always do. Wilder vs Chisora for last summer looked a decent show too, when it was announced. Several days earlier, Eric Gomez, the Goldenboy matchmaker, was privately emailing Dean Powell to warn against announcing Wilder vs Chisora because of problems that may stop the fight going ahead. It was announced publicly anyway, and instead of coming out and saying it wasn't part of the bill, they instead sold tickets for the show. Nobody got to see Wilder vs Chisora because it never happened.
If the November holds together, then credit where its due, it is maybe the best bill of the year, domestically.

Exactly. There have been some cracking cards put together recently that would have been great to see. Instead, they have fallen through and Mr TBA has put his WBO ranking on the line against a house fighter.
If a few of these cards actually happened consistently, my appetite for tickets with this promoter would return.

Whilst I applaud your vision for a new meedja boxing future & would be the first to sign on the line once you go live (as long as you promised to edit out the bit where the cameras catch me standing on me own in the shadows trying to smoke a cheeky single-skinner beforehand), the most important part of your post was this one:
I'm more interested in the opponents that just the pure fact someone or other is appearing.
& in all serious, the moment anyone in the "game" opens their fvcking mouth, this
needs to be reiterated & shoved down their fvcking throats until they choke on it like an ether-soaked hankie:
STOP TRYING TO SELL BOXING AS A SERIES OF TELEVISED EXECUTIONS... & STOP TRYING TO SELL BOXING AS APPEARANCES BY PERSONALITIES, YOU pudenda. THIS IS MEANT TO BE A
SPORT.

Thanks for clearing that up

I only used semi-pro because I know others call it as such, I wasn't sure what else to call it but white collar fits better I suppose
