Didn't even know the Excel could be set up to hold that many for boxing. Its a massive site but still surprised. I've been there 3 times for boxing and its always been on a smaller scale. Will be a nightmare getting away after if there are going to be that many people there.

What is capacity for this fight then?

I think FW said if they don't get 20k in they haven't done their job properly! I have no desire to be amongst a boxing crowd of that size attempting to leave the Excel at night!!

That's what i thought and why i posted the link to it. I've been over to eventim and i could buy 6 tickets in all price categories so it does seem to be a bit of bending the truth.

I'd imagine that figure is going to be bigger than the actual capacity on the night

the excel can hold twenty thousand but there is not way the 12.5 have been sold already.

they could not even half fill the copperbox when all these fighters were there

Frank has never talked about what a mess the copperbox fights were,,,

im surprised though that folk book in advance these days for fight with run of pull outs in heavyweights

It does look a cracking card but like you say, after recent events you don't know how it will actually look on fight night. No way i'd pay up as early as this.

I think so.

I think they're counting the number of fights that have fallen through over the past 18 months.

When the last fight fell through you had 3 options

1) use your ticket and see event minus Fury, Chisora/Ustinov (I did this with ringside tickets )
2) get a full refund
3) keep for rescheduled event

So for all those in category 3 the ticket sales HAVE to necessarily include them.

Looking at the Eventim site and available seating plan a quick count up of the blocks of empty seats and I would say 12,500 is accurate. What looks less accurate is that there are 7500 seats still available.

Apparently Terry Flannagan is fighting Stehpen Ormond. Plus there's Skeete against Gavin. Has the makings of a great night.

That fight seems likely, but going off Packie Collins twitter, Ormond's headlining a show over here, so it doesn't sound like it's on the undercard, hope it is though.

This card deserves to be a sell out the bill looks amazing but I can't help but think at least 2 of the fights won't happen! Iv also heard that the eubank fight is far from signed.

It's easy to announce fights without contracts signed! I hope they all go ahead and we have an amazing night of boxing but I'm not counting my chickens just yet

Don't forget that all the tickets issued to fighters on the card are classed as sold. So Frankie will have so many, Bradley, Eubanks, Saunders, etc, etc.. That soon adds up.

Seems odd. Wasn't there reports that the fight wasn't selling well when it was scheduled for Manchester?

No the 40's aren't far off I've just had a look but theres a whole side that will be 80s and 50s (block 1 if you look at the seating plan) still to be put on sale

That should be a very good fight. Then again remember how great the Fury Chisora 2 card in. Manchester was at one point.

Matchroom cards have plenty off TBA leading up to fight week usually but Hearn doesn't get the same treatment.

Hearn is the best promoter in the UK by a mile,

this is the last straw with me a FW cards if this fight does not happen
