Floyd Mayweather threw Showtime and All Access under the bus today in a silly meeting with the Nevada commission.

Floyd Mayweather rather pointlessly appeared in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission today to address concerns over some of the footage from Showtime's All Access that aired ahead of his September 13 rematch with Marcos Maidana, and as anyone familiar with Mayweather/Nevada hearings would have expected, it was a clown show.

Mayweather was told by commissioner Skip Avansino that he "acquitted himself well" at this morning's hearing, during which he made the following claims:

All Access is not real. This won't surprise anyone with a lick of sense that has experienced "reality TV," but this helped set up the next claims.
The "dog house" sparring at Mayweather's gym -- the supposed 31-minute rounds and all this -- isn't real.
The marijuana used for that scene where a bunch of Floyd's hangers-on smoked weed with forks while he hung out at a big table was prop pot. Mitch Hedberg once had a bit about fake pot and Peter Frampton.
So that's about all there is to it. No fines, no discipline, no nothing. Floyd Mayweather can more or less do whatever he wants and get away with it, because he brings a lot of money to Nevada, so there you have it. Everything is fake and does not need to be investigated.

The commission did ask that Mayweather alert them to when All Access is fake in the future.

Thats the thing about Floyd, most of his fans are the haters so yea this is news that fans care about. You gotta admit its kinda hard for the average person to be neutral about Floyd too.

I think weed thing is bigger than being a pussy or NSAC fine/promotional issues sh!t. His record could have a NC on it & he'd be stripped of a W if he pisses dirty from weed due to being around all these chicks smoking. Now from my understanding it ain't going to be likely you're gonna piss dirty being around weed but not smoking, but its a silly mfing risk & I don't think Floyd would take that silly of a risk with his boxing career. I think he'd love for his hater fans to think he would though. If he was around weed smoke like in AA he's got his priorities far off from retiring undefeated & getting huge paychecks for his last couple fights.
