Anyone know why Mick hasn't put young Clarkson on the undercard of the final? It seemed to me that he pretty much promised the lad he would and it hasn't happened.

After the Dickinson fight and for a while after he seemed set to be on there, but nothing was confirmed and now it's definitely not happening. I'll see if can find anything out about why, I would guess it's down to money though, don't think Matty would sell many tickets that far away from home and if he's not on the bill there won't be many watching at home asking why not. So no Channel 5 exposure, but on the bright side he's got a British title eliminator against Mike Stafford, hopefully at the Guild Hall in a couple of months with a few other local lads on the undercard.

the finals been postponed hasn't it? I know they said that on Channel 5 but I also saw comments on facebook from Dickenson saying he couldn't/wouldn't do the new date and that contracts were signed.

I'm really looking forward to this final. I've enjoyed the tournament for the most part and I'd like to see another one next year, maybe a different weight class?

Maybe one for the light-flyweights and call it the Malnutrition tournament ?
All joking aside it has been fun to watch, just hope it gets supported for more exposure

Turned out it was just badly bruised, he's fit and ready to fight, just needs a date. If the Stafford fight comes off here it will be a blessing in disguise for him.

I really hope so. I'd love to see Lenny Daws on Channel 5.
I'm pessimistic though. Channel 5 don't seem to like Lenny Daws, for some reason.

I thought they said on channel 5 it was rearranged but not sure.
Boxrec still have it listed as 4/10 but that includes the Ajisafe / Dickenson fight.
