BBBoC need to issue a statement on Eubank Saunders Scandal

Yes I'm calling it a scandal. Hard working punters spending their money on tickets and accomodation for an advertised fight which hasnt even been contractually agreed. No inclination given at all that the contract hadnt been signed by both parties when the fight was announced. It's blatant mis-advertising and mis-selling. If the fight gets made then great. Otherwise W arren's License to promote must be revoked by the BBBoC. Bo allegedly cancelled when I get home from work. Disgusted.

I have emailed the BBBoC to investigate the matter. I have previously emailed them twice and have always gotten a reply, twice by Robert Smith himself. I will upload there reply on here if i get one the today is a total disgrace.

Good work. I'd be interested to see if they're even bothered

I'd also be interested to see if Boxing News has anything to say on this matter other than just 'reporting the facts.'

Just not sure legally how people can get away with it?
Maybe people in the know can explain but its blatant mis-selling/ False advertising surely!
It stinks and its bang out of order, people have bought tickets on the strength of that fight...yes maybe some of the wiser peeps would hold off buying, but to the joe public, people might see it and go...'ooo good fight, lets buy tickets for it'
its not fair and all wrong.

Im not an expert on how the law works in regards to this kind of 'miss selling/false advertising', but I think that you can pretty much say what you like in regards to the undercard. Fwank can get out of it by saying the show is being sold on the Fury vs Chisora main event. The show is called Chisora vs Fury - Bad Blood, and thats what it will say on the tickets also.
Will be very disappointed (obviously) if this fight doesn’t go ahead, however it probably won’t, because nowhere does it say anything officially about BJS vs CEJ!!!

British rivals Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury will settle their differences once and for all on Saturday 29th November at the ExCeL London.
They head-up a huge multi-title fight card in the capital featuring some of the best talent in British boxing.
Chisora and Fury finally clash in an explosive battle for the European and Vacant British titles and Final Eliminator for the WBO World Heavyweight Championship.
Both men are ready to get it on in what is expected to be one of the most brutal heavyweights in recent years with so much on the line.
Someone’s ‘0’ has to go in a battle of the undefeated fighters, with Saunders’s European Middleweight title also on the line in this crucial showdown.
Looks like very clever wording to me... Nowhere does it mention anything about CEJ!!!

Everybody guessed it. Come the 5pm deadline there's more chance there'll be naked photos of Eubank Jr released on a website and Emma Watson signed to fight Billy Joe. And allegedly wonders why terrestrial tv don't seem interested.

Honestly dont think FW understands the implication of what he's doing, or maybe he does. Leading people up the garden path with false promisses; producing posters with fighters on who arent contracted to fight each other on the bill. Why not wait 3-4 weeks until the contracts are in place before going public ? He's giving away all his bargaining power doing this anyway, Eubanks will know he's desperate.
Giving up on British boxing after this. Rubbish on Sky and thievery on B O X N A T I O N.

I sort of believe that Frank Thought he had the fight ....But its not rocket science working it out , Eubank snr , knows its publicity, good or bad that makes money , I don't think he was EVER interested in the fight just the publicity ,
Eubank is the one taking the public for a ride , so simply boy cott his fights , don't pay to see him and his stock will plumett so far down he either takes them or retires , .
On a side note , Notice Frank getting a dig in at Hattons old man , insinuating he was'nt telling Ricky about the full amount of his purses ,Hell hath no fury like a scorned boxing promoter

I agree with everything you say Bellamy, I was highlighting this practice almost a year ago, it is absolutely nothing new. Its nice to see more people waking up to what the promoter does. I started a thread on the Feb copperbox show falling apart well in advance - between xmas and new year, if my memory is correct. I initially got a bit of stick, but the card (as it was originally announced) imploded. As did the previous, and subsequent copperbox shows.
I don't think he does it to rip off the fans, I think it has proved to be a tried and tested way, over the years, of nudging a proposed fight across the line so it becomes an actual fight and gets signed. It works less these days due to the well known payment problems. I think both parties were in talks, and Fwank then jumped the gun and announced it. I posted earlier this week that it was a win-win for Eubank jnr, even if the fight falls through, due to the massive publicity its brought for him.
He did this in summer 2013 with Chisora vs Wilder. Don't go by what they say, go by what they do. Did you see Chisora vs Wilder ? No, it was never actually signed, yet they went ahead and announced it.

Remember Burn's phantom proposed unification fight just before he jumped ship to Matchroom? Frank announced it as a done deal, whereas in reality the closest it ever got was when Ricky had his photo taken on his own at a Mexican restaurant.
If it wasn't so fvcking aggravating it would be funny.

I am surprised that people are surprised. He has not just started doing this guys. It happens on all his big shows these days, its one thing putting your stable up against TBA at the York Hall, but when he stages the big shows they implode. Why are people surprised ? He will do it again in the future. It is how he operates.

This is an absolute piss take ive got 6 people confirmed for tickets and more checking their diaries for a lads jolly to the boxing off the back of it being BJS v CEJ and the Chisora v Fury rematch. 3 of us had already paid and ended up not watching live the original event last time, we weren't willing to pay again for just the rematch on its own.
If this fight is pulled off the card not only will i not buy tickets on tuesday (payday) but i'll cancel allegedly out of principle.

I just watched that ifilm interview with him at 2pm. He doesn't look like he gives a xxxx for the fans, Bill Ives didn't seem that bothered either. If Kugan had a pair, he'd slip in the question "yeah okay Fwank but why does this keep happening to your shows it can't be Eubank's dads fault or Ricky Hatton's dad's fault every time surely ?"

allegedly is a turd of the highest order. He is always good at pointing fingers at others, and making "sly" insults at people he doesn't like. Making out all the way that he is a saint.
