On a serious note Henry Cooper's knockout over Erskine. Forward to about 9 minutes in, nasty knockout.

June 1958...unbeaten 13-0 prospect 140lb Jay Fullmer, 21 year old younger brother of former middleweight champ Gene Fullmer, stepped up in opposition and took on 147lb veteran Joe Miceli....Miceli promptly stopped young Fullmer in the 3rd round, knocking him down 3 times.
5 months later Jay's older brother got to meet Miceli in a boxing ring.....and this happened....don't blink at 1.18 here...you'll hear it if you don't see it...

I always liked the clinical effectiveness of Arguello over Rooney. He'd threatened to land the finisher a couple of times previously but hadn't quite timed it, then an opening came again and boom. Rooney looked dead for a couple of seconds. Then Arguello showed his class by trying to help him up.

Jesus, the way he's shifting his weight from side to side, setting up the one-two. A thing of beauty & wonder etc etc.
& the
noise the fvcking punch made...

You must've missed my post a few posts prior to yours, I posted this very fight

He could really hit hard and he was bit nasty as well, he'd hit low to set a head shot up etc; not a cuddly man in the ring.

Old school stuff
Azumah Nelson v Pat Cowdell.......just the one 'bingo' shot rather than multiple hits, but Cowdell out to the world before he hit the floor and then cold for a long, long time. One of the first fights I saw when there was championship boxing on ITV the whole time.

If you watch closely, I am sure that's a very young allegedly lurking around at the start....looking skinny and shifty and with an amusing Rodney Trotter haircut. Hair by Frank's Mum, suit by Burton's!
Should also mention Honeyghan v Hatcher.....difficult to see the first shot which had Hatcher already wrecked, but the follow-up stuff was brutal from Lloyd. Hatcher was absolutely banjaxed. Honeyghan had a brief period when he was almost Tyson-esque!
Newer stuff
More recently, Pavlik v Taylor 1. Pavlik so limited in some areas, but when he landed flush (and he often did) then people often just fell apart in a big, shocking way. Taylor took some horrible shots that night....amazed that they did it all again.
Also Sergio Martinez v Paul Willams 2 - absolutely crunching from Marvilla. Probably the most brutal and conclusive I've seen.

He looks stricken -- you don't see many people fall like that -- perfect temple shot.

Great great shouts. Gotta love The Professor, & yes, it's hard to imagine now but Pavlik could hit like hell at middle.
Gotta add my boy Dinamita doing Pac to that list. Face-down, motherfucker. & I'll say it for the thousandth time, when Marquez got put down earlier in the fight & Manny rushed to finish, JMM times him with the
exact same shot that eventually laid the Filipino out as he blundered forward, & it was nearly lights out then.
No way that was a fluke. I posted the training videos where all he was doing was loading up on one huge counter right hand in sparring in the "Mega-thread" beforehand; he gets scuffled all over by a southpaw sparring partner & just waits, & waits, & waits... & then BAM, motherfucking shotgun.

Hearns Schuler always got me, one shot, right on the point of the chin. Game over. That man was asleep for a long time.

BOOM!
That was savage. A clear demonstration of how you throw a Knock Out blow.
