Fwank, because he has shot himself in the foot massively. I think the distrust of him and his announced shows has now gone from being noticed by a minority, to being known to the majority.

On a slightly related note I have to say it seems Eddie is picking up the dirty tricks of the sport as he progresses as a promoter. His connection with IBF mandatory challenger Avalos was sxxt-stirring of the highest order, and he's at it again by opening up talks between Dirrell and himself to sound out the chance of getting Paul Smith a crack at Dirrell. Granted he has to do his best for Smith but Groves is next up for the title shot and Groves refused to sign with Eddie so he's trying to jump the queue with Smith getting in there first. This sort of behaviour, and the greedy PPV status of Cleverley/Bellew, proves that - as Parson Cross would say - they all xxxx in the same pot.

Why did Selby fight a WBC eliminator last time and fighting IBF eliminator next time?

I am left wondering if all the posturing that has occured has actually worked for Warren here, I think this fight will still take place on the date already mentioned Fury/Chisora bill, with the winner getting a home fight against Korobov/Lee winner.

Could be completely wrong but perhaps the mention of Korobov may have got all the contracts signed a bit sharpish, time will tell I guess

Hearn will be announcing soon how many PPV's they have sold which will be another load of bollocks. They will be lucky to get 10,000. With about 100 outside Cardiff & Liverpool.

Bellew v Cleverly PPV is by far the bigger faux pas imo.

The BJS / Eubank non-fight was a massively frustrating situation where all parties were probably a bit at fault, but at the end of the day it didn't cost us anything & was just a disappointment. Ok I know FW has form, and some people may have bought tickets purely on the back of that fight, but undercards do change frequently & they still get to see Fury v Chisora 2 (all being well).

Cleverly v Bellew 2, on the other hand, is a fairly unspiring rematch between 2 European level fighters who've both been blasted out at world level & supported by a typically one-sided Matchroom undercard. To be asked to pay 17 odd quid on top of our monthly Sky subs for the priviledge of watching is an absolute liberty.

Despite a few justified criticisms, Hearn had built up a lot of goodwill from boxing fans over the last few years, which has gone down the pan as far as I'm concerned.

they probably realised Selby won't beat gonzalez and the ibf champ is more beatable.

Hearn's. Frank was trying to make a good match happen. Hearn is selling condemned meat as fresh, IMO.

FW. Hearn's Bellew-Cleverly PPV may be a joke/bad value for money etc but what you see is what you get (even if you don't like what you see).

FW, on the other hand, mis-sold to his customers by announcing something that wasn't confirmed. Far worse crime and indefensible.
