Chris Eubank - hype trian or quality

What do people think of Chris Eubank Jnr?
looked class in the sparring clips with the main man Carl Froch but I saw the Tyan booth fight and he was total useless.
Degale always said he was useless but the matchroom team rate him highly,
Eddie said he would like to sign him and his Dad thinks he could take GGG (no chance)
what do people on here think of him before his big fight.
I think he is hype and Billy joe beats him on points as Eubank will be lazy in the ring as usual.

I am so glad this fight has been made.
If Eubank is half as good as he has made people believe then he will be too much for BJS.
However I am leaning towards a BJS early finish.

Very good fighter. And so is BJS. Great match up. And early enough in their careers for a close fight to allow either man to bounce back.

Hype job at the moment. He's done nothing yet to show he can cope with BJS as he has struggled with English level opposition and BJS is British-Euro at the moment. I'm not saying that BJS is fantastic, if anything, i'm a bit underwhelmed by him too but he has achieved more in his career so far.
I would be surprised if he gets the win.

Saunders is currently ranked within the top 15 in the world. And I would say that is about right. Eubank isn't even ranked in the top 50. This could be a mismatch waiting to happen.
Looking at Eubank's record, he has never beaten anyone who has even won a British title yet. This is a big step up for him.

Bit of both really,he's definitely been hyped up and at the start of his career i didnt think there was much substance but his last few fights he's improving bit by bit the way a good young novice should and maybe with the right training, focus and development he could be become a serious contender,he's got the right connections and backstory which goes a long way in this sport and he doesnt seem short of confidence which is a vital asset to have
I just think that he's being rushed into the Saunders fight,Billy Joe is European class at least and Eubank Jr has been fed the usual suspects which is fine if you wanna gain experience and your in no rush but why not go for British and Commonwealth titles first then move on?,i assume both they belts are to be vacated by Saunders now he's European champ, there's a handful of fighters who would be viable options for Chris at this stage,Ryder,Blackwell,O'Kane or McEwan off the top of my head
Dont get me wrong im chuffed the fights on and i dont think it will be the mismatch the stats suggest on paper but i think Eubank's team reckon they can walk through Saunders punches and KO him

Personally i had Ryder edging the win v BJS in their fight. So for me, the question could also be asked if BJS is a hype job? Who has he actually beat??? Yes he's fought alot higher than Eubank, but has he fought that high overall?
As for Eubank, could well be a hype job, but if he was, why are so many people interested and why do some people think he could win?
And why aren't people screaming mis match like they did at weekend for the Leeds MAtchroom bill?

i have seen him a couple of times live and BJS once and I honestly can't wait for this fight.
I just think BOTH are probably over rated if I'm honest...that's not a slight on any of the two,...just my opinion
I think Eubank can and will win but you know what if I'm wrong, hey ho...no worries I got it wrong.

If Junior has his dad's durability he will be very hard to beat. And he will have a top class career.

Eubank JR has ability in spades the only question is is he ready for a dramatic step up in class yet.

I'm surprised by the number of people saying Eubank Jr has improved in recent fights - I'd say his level of opposition has actually got a lot worse, so not sure how any real improvements can be noted?

Whatever anyone thinks we are going to find out for sure how good he is on November 29th. I'v been less than impressed with some of his performances but I think at times he has been mucking about to try and play to the crowd in those fights, and they have been fights where he can do this.

It's easy to look like a puncher against a stationary target, not so easy when the opponent has a defence and head movement and some degree of timing is needed to hurt them.

I think he's quality. I've seen many comments suggesting he's a lazy fighter, well wouldn't that explain why he's done just enough to win in most of his fights, maybe he's been holding back. I have faith he's going to step it up in this fight because he's going to have to and I think he wins.

Potentially a great fighter. Let's not forget he has hardly said a word in interviews and keeps himself to himself.
His fight with BJ Saunders is a bigger fight in my opinion than the Cleverly vs Bellew 2 fight.

It's already overshadowed Del-Tyson and is far more intriguing than Clev-Boomer, would be huge on Sky.

In flashes he's looked the real deal, other times labored, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say the better the opposition the better Eubank we'll see... We'll find out next month....

He has a pedigree background , his father is a publicity machine and has used up all his knoledge to get the young fella ahead , He has at the moment been given a free ride and easier fights based on his father .
This fight is really now going to give everyone a opportunity to see if he is the real deal or just a Eubank publicity machine .
Another point of interest for me is what will Saunders do if he loses , after all he's made some pretty bold statements , including the never to be uttered , on my kids life , Whoa that for me is a never to be muttered statement and if you do , you follow it through

I predict a BJS win. But you never know. Maybe he's as good as him and his dad think he is.

I think one thing is for sure - this is one fight where Eubank Sr won't posture into the ring & stand staring at Eubank Jr in between rounds.
This can only be a good thing.

There's no such thing as being sure when it comes to Eubank. He's an attention loving arse.

fair play to Warren for getting this fight on.
it is a best fight in the UK since Froch and Groves and im also looking forward to it more than Bellew v cleverly
Eddie said it was in the interest of boxing that they move the matchroom card to the 22nd
i think the main reason really was the the sky card would of been a ppv flop if it wet against the Warren card

Does anyone know if he is still fighting Wilson on the 25th? Because i can't see him fighting BJS four weeks later if he does.
