Peter Fury says the fight is in doubt. It's not been signed.

What's that?Lennox wrote:Cant see Tyson fighting for a while with what happened today.
very good points made and well said and that includes the part about not frothing at the mouth I admit.Badhusker wrote:While of course risking the chance of sounding insensitive, postponements for boxing matches or illnesses is getting old, and I imo not necessary. Many, and probably all of us have had close relatives pass away in the past. Normally people cannot afford to postpone "work" for a few months because of it. Most times it is best to keep on working after a mourning period to hopefully keep your mind off of it. Sometimes you can use it as a motivation to accomplish something great.
All that said, I do wish Fury the best. This fight was not exactly one that people were frothing at the mouth at to watch anyway.
Agree with that.Badhusker wrote:While of course risking the chance of sounding insensitive, postponements for boxing matches or illnesses is getting old, and I imo not necessary. The contest with Abell may as well of been an exhibition. It was a mere excercise. At any time, Fury could of taken the bum out. And that was Fury at his fattest, slowest, and rustiest.fergusg wrote:Tyson Fury only fought eight months ago and has since had fight cancellations against Alexander Ustinov and Dereck Chisora. Even though he only fought once in 2013, against Steve Cunningham, he also had to endure two fight cancellations against David Haye.funso banjo baby wrote:Fury is pretty much retired now
Therefore, why do you claim that Tyson Fury has retired (unless you’re merely trolling)?
When I started reading your post I was thinking of Cooney also.HomicideHenry wrote:The contest with Abell may as well of been an exhibition. It was a mere excercise. My greatest fear is that he'll only of done two fights in the span of a year and a half. He beats Chisora, he'll become the WBO mandatory. I don't know if he could even stand a chance with that much inactivity and rust against Klitschko. Fury at his busiest and best shape, would of still been an underdog, but at least a live one.
I'm having flash backs of Cooney when he was inactive for nearly 18 months before facing Holmes.

How are things on the International Space Station?fergusg wrote:How bizarre!
If I submit a post containing “F.rank Warren” (without the full stop), his name gets automatically substituted with the word “allegedly”.
That's one hell of a flashback, you not being born and all.HomicideHenry wrote: I'm having flash backs of Cooney when he was inactive for nearly 18 months before facing Holmes.

The same Chisora that has fought Vitali, Haye and travelled to fight Helenius in his own backyard?KBB wrote:Freedom2013 wrote:Peter Fury says the fight is in doubt. It's not been signed.

Maybe Chisora is just all talk after all, I'm really hoping Fury knock this dude's chin off.
Buster Douglas. Good example.Badhusker wrote:While of course risking the chance of sounding insensitive, postponements for boxing matches or illnesses is getting old, and I imo not necessary.
