In all seriousness lets hold fire until there is an official announcement on whether this fight is off or not. Some of us stuck the boot into the Eubank situation when it ended up eventually sorting itself out so this might just be another case of that.

Yeah that is true. Saying that though, surely fights of this magnitude should be signed by now!

It must be tempting for Fwank to not bother. It's an expensive fight, nobody seems to care about it and BJS-Junior has really captured the imagination.

Yeah, it's not really a fight I care about myself. He should try and do a deal with Haye and try and get Haye-Fury on against instead.

Fascinating; for me the single key word in all that interview was 'amendments' - as, to the agreement. One little word that can mean so much. It will be money or options. Tell you what, if his November 29th show implodes from here on in there will be rock all sympathy or goodwill to the promoter, he really should not be running his business like this

Tyson needs a fight. Badly.

Personally I am not worried about this fight not taking place on this date at all, for the reasons that are being brought up here. Someone might get injured the same as can happen in any fight. But I don't think both sides would have had that press conference if there were serious potential stumbling blocks ahead with the contract. I'm sure it is just a case of fine tuning taking a little more time than it sometimes can.

Is it a fight that you're that interested in yourself?

Yeah it is. Granted it's dragged on for a while now but I am definitely looking forward to the top 2 fights.

I expect the fight to happen. It's encouraging to hear that Peter's brother is showing signs of improvement, it's clearly taken it's toll on him (Peter) as it would anybody from a close family.

In all fairness, frank and his solicitors have been busy this week, suing burns in the high court. I guess that takes priority.

[quote="JimJim2009"]Fascinating; for me the single key word in all that interview was 'amendments' - as, to the agreement. One little word that can mean so much. It will be money or options.

That Jim , is the major word ,, ,, AMENDMENTS ,,, WHO has added the amendments to the contract , what are the AMENDMENTS , it would suggest that Fury wants a change to the original contract , could it be more money , less options, Lets not all be too quick to crusifiy Fwank here . The very fact that he said till , they agree and sign to the AMENDMENTS suggest that they have asked for something AFTER it was all agreed .

Nw too be honest if its money , i think Eubank and BJS have been the drawcard here , there the interest , and they will draw the crowd ,, Fury and Chisora , lets have it right , people have lost interest , Fury and his clan i think actually think they are bigger stars than they are . Ok there is interest , but not the interest they think there is ,

I myself , if the wife said we have somewhere else to go , i would'nt think this fight is worth getting in an argument to say , No we have not , i'm watching the fight , I would go out and keep in the good books , but since Eubank and Saunders have joined the flock , its gonna be , see you later i'll catch up .

Lets hope Fury does'nt over estimate his worth , because if he's cut loose , where else will he go if his demands are more he might find himself out in the lurch , if there less he makes a cant of himself .

The comment about the fury's over valuing themselves is accurate-Fury is potentially a huge draw but recent inactivity and the nature of this fight mean he is not sucha big player as he could/should be.
However Warren really has got to watch his step now he will become a laughing stock if he fails to deliver on this and one thing a conman can't afford to be is a joke.

Absolutely right.

Talk about a career in limbo.

There are semi-retired fighters who've had more fights than Fury in the last couple of years.

I agree, but I was left wondering if his interview was a carefully timed threat to warren; he deliberately gave away a damaging titbits to an interviewer and it seemed to be designed to pressure frank into signing the contract. As ever, the issues will be money or options. It was a calculated public disclosure and I wonder if the fury's perceive the timing to right to force a hard bargain, knowing the last thing frank needs at this point in time is for a public dispute over fury/chisora not taking place. They know frank will be crucified if this falls through AND contracts were never signed, because the average man in the street will conclude that if contracts were never signed, then the fight was never really on to start with.

Sky / Hearn have been thrashed this week, but at least their show is actually signed and will largely stay together !

Thats all correct , It certainly looked like it was deliberate leaked information ,, with a but i'm sure it will be fine , it certainly could be percieved has a veiled threat .. But like i said they wanty to beware of biting the hand that feeds them , there not the big draws they think they are , If they go elswhere , Really who else would have the money , clout and contacts to take him further ,, there are a couple , Hearns , Saunderland .But what offers would they get from these guys , , Would it be a case of Hearns saying sorry sunshine you need me more than I need you , and i seen how you bit Franks hand .

I may be a million miles away with my thinking , but alls i know, is on a smaller scale when i was employing people , i was always wary of guys who would try and hold me to ransom ,when they knew i was busy , and needed them . And even shyer of employing people i knew had held others to ransom . MORE OFTEN THAN NOT AN EMPLOYEE WOULD REALLY OVER VALUE HIMSELF

A bit off topic bit it's Bonation related. How many degrees of rotation does George do during this interview?

I think we have found the Kelly Brook beaver pics too. They are clearly on the floor as George spends half the interview staring at it.

I've not seen any beaver pics but I've found some of the photos of her. She looks absolutely stunning and has definitely improved with age. The shots of David McIntosh also came up. I doubt she'd feel mine after being with him.

There were rumoured to be some more coming out that haven't been seen yet. But then there have been a lot of celebrities rumoured to be involved that haven't come to light, probably because it was just someone who looked like them. I never realised the chap who went used to play Dr Who went out with Daisy Low. Not only that but the less innocent amongst us who have seen the pictures will have noticed the 2 of them seem to be into S+M and golden showers. Either that or the plastic sheeting on the floor is because she's a gusher.

Fury's just tweeted that his uncle Hughie has passed away. Hope it doesn't affect the fight. RIP of course though.
