How fit will Chauncey be? Is he taking this fight seriously?

I think Chauncy will come in big. I have gone for 274 - 286 pounds.

The weight doesn't matter with Welliver. He'll show up to the ring feeling strong and whip some arse.

If both were in shape, Welliver would be 220lb and Browne would be 240lb. Not going to happen in either case.

Like he did against middle aged grand daddy Billy Wright?
Chauncy looked terrible on the scales, in the ring and on all 3 scorecards.

Well it is now official:
Lucas Browne 115.66 kg vs. Chauncy Welliver 137.89 kg.
Now that is a mighty 302 pounds for Chauncey!
Now we know why you cannot find any meat pies left in Auckland!

Firstly Welliver hasn't lived in Auckland for along time, secondly you can even get meat pies in McDonald's in Auckland and thirdly f*ckin hell 302lbs that's a poor effort (or lack of it). There's a good chance Browne stops this very early tonight.

Yes, it is true, Maccas have grunters over the Tasman, whereas our downunder Maccas haven't raised the bar as yet to that gastronomical height.
No doubt Chauncey will blame the above pies for his demise tonight, and one hopes those at ring side are not hit with a bit of projectile vomit if Big Daddy lets rip to the body!

I'm still curious about this fight, word is that its Chauncey Wellivers farewell. Love him or loath him he's become a bit of a boxing cult figure (excuse the pun).

Yes,You gotta like Chauncey, very likeable guy.I think his body shape stops him from being taken serious buy the casual fan but hes very deceiving with his fitness (maybe not of late),sparred and fought loads for a young man.Limited fighter but very tough, played the ranking very well and got himself into contention but failed in the end.If thi was his last fight, good look with the rest of your life, whatever you choose, your a credit to all the portly gentlemen among us

I can't see Chauncy coming back from that hiding and hopefully he isn't planning to. Tough guy. Good career. But fought a lot of easybeats along the way too.
